TSFU Ep. 162- The Mysterious Disappearance of the Beaumont Children Sep 13, 2024

Show notes

Welcome back lovelies! We have another unsolved case that's sure to suck you in!!
Today Ash and Fallon are talking about the disappearance of the Beaumont children - one of the most famous unsolved cases in Australia. On a sunny day in 1966, Jane, Arnna, and Grant Beaumont went to the beach to play and were never seen again. The missing children sparked a massive search, but no trace of them was ever found. Despite numerous suspects, no one was ever definitively linked to the case. Grant and Nancy Beaumont lived the rest of their lives with the heartbreak of never having an answer to their biggest question - what happened to the Beaumont children?
The case remains unsolved to this day.
If you have any information about this case, or any unsolved crime, then you can share what you know with Crime Stoppers without saying who you are or getting involved. Rewards are available. Call 1800 333 000 or go to www.crimestoppers.com.au

SUMMER FUN FAVES: Fyre Festival Aug 28, 2024

Show notes

This week for our Summer Fun Faves series, we go back to Ash and former co-host Michelle for their take on the dumpster fire called the Fyre Festival.
Models on yachts sipping champaign on what was once Pablo Escobar's island... influencers, delicious food, luxury accommodations, beautiful art and amazing music in the Bahamas. That's what was promised if you bought a ticket to 2017's Fyre Festival, tickets that went for well into the thousands to tens of thousands of dollars. What festival goers got was the opposite of the experience that they had dreamed of and been promised- basically 24 hours in hell.

SUMMER FUN FAVES: Redneck Rave Aug 15, 2024

Show notes

In this blast from the past, former podcast co-host, Michelle Mosher, tells Ash a story about summer fun gone wrong.
Michelle takes us to Kentucky's biggest and most famous party, the Redneck Rave (yes, we know that term is derogatory but we didn't name the festival)! The rave promises "mud, music and mayhem" and boy does it deliver! In June 2021 the rave resulted in a man having his throat slit, a woman being choked in a fight over a blanket and another man being impaled by a log, along with multiple lost appendages. No age restrictions and lots of Confederate flags, wooooo!
