Show notes
Our dear friend, Charles Martin is back on the pod with his pastor and friend (but no relation), Joby Martin. We talked about God not answering prayers in the way that we want Him to, what was going on in Judas' mind/heart during Holy Week, and their new book Anything Is Possible: How Nine Miracles of Jesus Reveal God’s Love for You. Also, be sure to check out Charles' new book Son of Man. You know I can't resist a chance to talk about miracles and how well Jesus loves!
Please note that this conversation was recorded just hours after the recent tragic mass shooting at a Nashville school. We do talk about this tragedy throughout the show, so I wanted to let you know beforehand, in case your heart is tender towards this right now (as is all of ours). We are praying for our friends, family, and community to be able to have space to grieve together and care for one another.
As a reminder, That Sounds Fun will not release any new episodes during Holy Week next week. We'll see you back here after Easter!
