Carmen Croan & Jaquaree Simmons Jul 07, 2021

Show notes

Hello dear listener!

We begin episode 51 with the murder of Carmen Croan in Odessa, Texas. A young girl heads to a night club to make up with her boyfriend but ends up disemboweled and practically decapitated on the side of the highway near an oil pump jack. Was it a knife wielding jewelry salesman, the hometown hero boxer, or is her killer still at large?

We close out the episode with the murder of Jaquaree Simmons in Houston, Texas. The victim of a negligent, racist, and brutal attack in the Harris County jail left the 23 year old man dead in his cell. What really happened to Jaquaree in February 2021?? The sheriff has taken action but the investigation is still ongoing... we hope.

*Sorry in advance...we drank the death drink cocktails tonight so, prepare yourself for some ice clinking and crunching (on Hannah's part) in the back ground*

Halloween Episode: Kimberly Hill & Debra Jackson Oct 26, 2019

Show notes

HAIL SATAN Y’ALL, it’s our Halloween episode!

We begin episode 49 with an update and recap regarding the case of Melissa Trotter. (Episode 46 might make a little more sense now)

Hannah then covers the 2014 case of Kimberly Hill; a victim of parricide down in Corpus Christi. This case truly brings the traditional horror elements of Halloween to the party: hammers, sewage, necrophilia, suicide notes, and bestiality…. just to name a few. It begs the question, “How well do you really know your own family members?”

Cassie wraps up the episode with an infamous cold case that just recently made headlines. For 40 years the victim was only known by an article of clothing, but decades of police work, and possibly even Henry Lee Lucas, kept her case in the spotlight. DNA ultimately answered the question of her identity, but will her rapist and murderer ever be known?

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Grace Ford & Melanie Goodwin Sep 26, 2019

Show notes

Long time no see!

We have returned (probably not for long, sorry not sorry) with a brand new episode!

First, we begin with our “Summer of Growth” and give you a little recap of what we’ve been up to for the last 4 months.

Cassie then tells us the about the murder of 2 year old Grace Ford in Plano. The morning that Mitch Ford breaks off his engagement to Melinda Muniz... let's just say she doesn't take it well. After a trip to the Dollar Store and 500 lies later, police are left wondering what really happened to baby Grace?

Hannah wraps up the episode with the long awaited and not completely researched case of Melanie Goodwin. It's 2007 and everyone is watching LAGUNA BEACH or playing HALO3!! Young college student, Melanie, stops to grab some snacks for her boyfriend, but is found the next morning raped, murdered, and also charred from being lit on fire. Video footage comes to the rescue and helps bring her killer(s) to justice.

Kane disconnected Cassie's microphone at the very end..... big surprise

Happy Halloween!!
