After all the family and food the past few days, I'm definitely in the holiday spirit... and I hope you are too! Well, as Christmas approaches and this year comes to an end, I’ve put together a plan to help you make 2021 your best year yet. If you’ve followed me very long, you know that I'm passionate about you having a vision, a dream before your eyes, and even making a vision board. Why? Because the Bible says without a vision, you’re basically dying. You are in for a real treat! I sat down with my 91-year-old Grandma on her front porch in Arkansas and asked her to share some tips with you on how to live a successful life. You can’t ask someone for tips about success unless they’ve demonstrated success, right? Well, you would never guess this woman is in her 90’s! Her mind is sharp, her memory is incredible, she reads a book a week, and she can work a puzzle faster than you can imagine... and she’s full of vision at 91 years old!

Heading into 2020, I heard the Lord say this during my praying time, “You have entered a new era of favor and favorable opportunities.” I don’t think most people would describe the last several months as a “new era of God’s Favor." However, did you know that you will get exactly what you expect? Your mind is like a magnet. Whatever gets in your mind and stays there, you will attract it in your life. Look at what Proverbs 23:7 says: “As a man thinks in his heart, so is he.” You will become what you think. Have you ever wondered what God's will is for your life? Well, rest assured you're not alone! We've all wanted know what God's will is and what He wants us to do at some point.

This might sound strange, but... Do you know that expressing gratitude, maybe even keeping a gratitude journal, is part of God’s will for you?

Look at what 1 Thessalonians 5:18 says: “I will give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for me in Christ Jesus.”

Years ago, I decided to keep a gratitude journal for 30 days… I sat down each morning during my prayer time and just wrote down 3-5 things I was grateful for. After 30 days of journaling my gratitude, it's hard to comprehend just what happened… watch this week’s podcast video to find out.

No matter your age, I'm sure there is something you wished you had done when you were younger and now you use the "I'm too old" excuse as a reason for not doing it now.

Trust me, I hear this ALL THE TIME.

When I'm speaking at conferences, I'll meet people in the crowd who tell me they're too old to go back to school, too old to change their career, too old to start their business, and the list goes on and on.

I want to prove to you today that it’s not too late and you’re not too old to live your dreams...

Don't be like the guy whose tombstone read: died at 30 buried at 60. In other words, he just existed for 30 years.

No, God has something for YOU to achieve, to fulfill. He has an assignment on your life. In fact, this week, we're going to prove that you haven’t wasted too many years to live your dreams!

I heard Jim Rohn say that human beings are the only life on earth who have the ability to change the course of their life… no other life form can do that.

Every other life form seems to only operate by instincts and the genetic code.

For example, in the winter the goose flies south... How often? Every winter.

If you said to the goose, “Hey it’d by better this year to go west.” He ignores it.

The reason he ignores it is because he cannot make choices and listen to advice that might be better for him. He has to obey instinct and the genetic code.

But not human beings... you can alter the course of your life!

You can live one way for 10 years and then live a completely different way the next 10 years.

I want you to know today: you’re not a goose! You can change your life immediately with these 3 things.
