Destro proves to be a ladies man, Cobra Commander ditches the hipster look in favour of some sparkly battle armour and although his name might be Chuckles, he sure aint funny. To top if all off, Chief debuts a new GoT rap, the boys pronounce yet more love of retro gaming and Ben makes a tough call between Cows and Pigs.

This week, in the words of Paul Hardcastle, the boys are ni-ni-ni 19, 19, ni-19 19 (episodes deep). Chief and Ben smash into issues 54-56 and Yearbook 3 and are treated to some classic Joe action. Masks come off as Snake Eyes becomes Flint and Destro and the King Cobra get into some good gear and prove they are true fashion icons! Serpentor shows a new financial side to his leadership and terror dromes are on the menu. We also get a cracking wordless story in the vein of the classic 'silent issue'. Chad is a comic book writer who has worked for Marvel, Image, IDW, Dynamite and more, he's also a massive Joe fan which is handy! He came on the show to talk about the essays he's written in the back of the G.I. Joe Sierra Muerte books, discuss some of the other comics he's written (X-Men '92/Youngblood/Infinity Wars Sleepwalker) and generally have a good time! Of course it wouldn't be a Talking Joe guest interview without a G.I. Joe pop quiz! What flavour ice-cream does Cobra Commander like? Is Bazooka skilled at veterinary surgery? Zartan is Ripcord and Ripcord is Zartan and then Zartan is Doc and Ripcord is still Ripcord...but I think Zartan is Gung-Ho. What the hootin' heck is going on!? That said, there are several certainties we can bank on and that is, revenge is on Storm Shadow's mind, Sgt. Slaughter is no joke in the bustin' chops department and Chief's mind is getting less dark!

Swab the deck and tie the line ya bunch of land lubbers, it's adventure on the high seas as episode 14 of the podcast that is taking the internet by storm once more dives into G.I. Joe comic action. Chief and Ben discuss issues 40-41 and Yearbook 2. Cobra has a new master plan but needs the Joe's help to achieve it. This one has it all. Action, intrigue, drama and a big smattering of stereotypical 'sailor' dialogue from new joe, Shipwreck. On top of that the boys discuss the Hama/Golden story from the yearbook which sees the return of the October Guard. We also have the usual delve inside Chief's mind and as always there's a question for Ben to answer.
