Ryan explains how a birthday visit to his buddy, “Negative 1” (aka Brodie Jr), turned into the Dark match that led to him signing with AEW. Ryan talks about his training at both OVW and FCW, what he learned from Rip Rogers and Dusty Rhodes, his tenure at WWE, and his sort of abrupt release from the company. He speaks to his standup comedy career, his film and television career, touring with his brother Nick (aka WWE’s Dolph Ziggler), and the making of his award-winning short film, “Heel.”

    Anthrax - 40 Years of New York Thrash Jul 14, 2021

    The core Anthrax lineup of Scott Ian, Charlie Benante, Frank Bello, and Joey Belladonna, are celebrating 40 years of Anthrax with some great stories about some of the pioneering highlights from their career. They hit on the Big 4 shows, their appearance on “Married With Children,” traveling on Iron Maiden’s plane with Bruce Dickinson piloting it, the making of the “Among The Living” and “Spreading The Disease” albums, and Joey Belladonna joining the band. They remember the infamous Roseland Ballroom gig that landed them their first major label deal along with Metallica and Raven, Scott Ian shaving his head and Charlie cutting off his hair when long hair was synonymous with metal. They speak to being first to wear board shorts and t-shirts onstage in a time of jean jackets and leather, and being the first to blend rock and rap in an ill-fated project with the Beastie Boys.     The Atrocities of Graham James - Worst Scandal in NHL History Jul 09, 2021

    It’s the biggest sex scandal in hockey history, and it started in Canada’s famed junior hockey league, and arguably contributed to the death of Jay Macaulay, a former high school classmate of Chris Jericho’s who died of drug overdose in April. Winnipeg Free Press reporter Jeff Hamilton details the unbelievable story of disgraced ex-Western Hockey League coach Graham James, and how he was able to sexually abuse junior hockey league players (some who went on to become Stanley Cup winning NHL professionals) for years and years across multiple teams and territories. Jeff recounts all he uncovered in his years-long investigation into James including the multiple coverups and enabling by some of Canadian hockey’s top officials. Jeff shares the NHL players stories who came forward to ultimately take James down, and why the predator only served 18-months before being released to live his life.
