    Scott Norton - From North Korea to the NWO Oct 27, 2021

    Scott Norton is a highly decorated arm-wrestling champion, a New Japan Pro Wrestling champion, and the only wrestler to be a member of the NWO in both Japan and the States. He was also part of the crew (that also included Ric Flair, Antonio Inoki, and Eric Bischoff) that traveled to North Korea in 1995 to wrestle in the “Collision in Korea” PPV, a joint production of New Japan and WCW. Scott shares his personal stories from North Korea from traveling with Muhammad Ali to being taken and questioned by the North Korean Military to the frightening display of missiles and arms at Pyongyang’s May Day Stadium during the two-day event. He explains how the whole thing came together in the first place, why he agreed to go, and what he remembers about the various PPV match-ups.

Josh explains how one kickstarter campaign got the ball rolling on this journey, how and when actors Leonardo DiCaprio and Adrian Grenier of “Entourage” fame got involved, and what it was like to spend 7 days on the ocean searching for and tagging whales. He recounts some of their open sea adventures, how the story evolved into more than just the “Search for 52,” and some of the unexpected help they encountered along the way.

She’s got some great rock & roll stories about Heart’s early days on the road, opening for Rod Stewart, what happened when John Mellencamp opened for Heart, meeting Paul McCartney, performing Led Zeppelin songs in front of Robert Plant and Jimmy Page, her cameo appearance in “Fast Times At Ridgemont High,” and the time that Eddie Van Halen called her in the middle of the night to play his new song for her.


    Nick FN Gage - MDK & the Art Of The Death Match Oct 08, 2021

Nick run downs his preparations for the match, what GCW and the MDK Gang mean to him, and what inspired his love of death match wrestling in the first place. He also recounts his nearly 7-years in jail, the lessons learned and friends he made there, how the farm work he did impacted his wrestling career, and what that first match post-jail was like. He also details the night he wrestled David Arquette (who almost died of his injuries), the night Nick himself almost died of his own injuries, and the craziest weaponry he’s used in the ring. And of course, he tells the full story of his AEW experience and his role in the Labors of Jericho.


    Robert Hansen - Hunting Humans Like Animals Oct 06, 2021

    Robert Hansen (or “Butcher Baker” as he was known in the media) is a serial killer who’s fascinated Hollywood for years! He and his gruesome crimes have inspired movies (“The Frozen Ground”) and TV shows (“Mind Hunters,” “Criminal Minds”). Robert kidnapped his victims, tortured and sexually assaulted them, and then turned them loose in the Alaskan wildnerness in order to HUNT THEM DOWN like animals! It’s believed that he raped 30 women, and abducted and murdered another 17 between 1971 and 1983 though he was only convicted (and ultimately sentenced) for 4 murders total. Jamie and John from True Crimecast return to discuss Robert’s background and life, details of the case, stories of the victims, and explain how Robert Hansen was finally captured and why prosecutors only tried him for 4 murders.
