Supercross seemed extra exciting last weekend in Texas, as the stands housed the most fans that they have all season. The track featured some BIG booters, and racing was extra exciting.

Monster Energy/Star Racing/Yamaha's Justin Cooper suffered a setback only a few weeks before the start of the Western Regional 250 Supercross Series when he crashed in a corner and suffered a broken right foot from the bike landing on it. Cooper waited a few weeks before having a special brace made for the inside of his Alpinestar Tech 10 boots and returning to the track. All told, he had four days of riding before the gate dropped at the Orlando Two series kickoff, but the New Yorker made quite a statement by setting the fastest qualifying time and winning the first West Coast 250 main of the season in dominant fashion. We caught up with Cooper this past Saturday to get his take on the race, the rest of the season, and more!
