Thinking of Houston and Trading Samardzija - August 31, 2017 Aug 31, 2017
    Show notes

Thoughts and more importantly effort need to be sent to Houston. I look at ways to not screw up optics. Then I implore the Giants to trade Jeff Samardzija to one of 5 teams who could be desperate for a decent but not great pitcher.

Rich Hill Didn't Win, Neither Did The Tigers or Gary Sanchez - August 25, 2017 Aug 25, 2017

Giancarlo Stanton is having an unbelievable season playing for the Miami Marlins. Should the Red Sox try to trade for him? HELL NO!!! Would YOU sign an injury prone player in his late 20's to an 11 year contract? At the cost of one of your core players? I hope not. That plus I call for the name to be changed for Yawkey Way and I figure out which Cardinals team should have won.

    Show notes

Even mediocre teams with losing records have realistic World Series dreams in mid August... provided they play in the American League. Meanwhile, the Marlins seem to want to be the Yankees of the South. Just don't be TOO much like the Yankees. Plus I determine which Astros team is the one that should have won.

Mike Trout's greatness is still wasted because the Angels can not bring themselves to mediocrity. Meanwhile I pay due respect to Don Baylor and figure out which is the Dodger team that should have won.
