Bruce Boise, Author of Cold Comfort | $425 Million Pharma Lawsuit Whistleblower & Government Informant Nov 29, 2020
    Show notes

Bruce Boise worked for nearly 24 years in the pharmaceutical industry, first as a hospital representative, and then as a sales manager in the Great Lakes region. After losing his job as a whistleblower, he spent portions of the next 17 years working with the United States Justice Department on two separate False Claims Act cases against his former employer, Cephalon/Teva, a neuro biotech company.

His story is told in a new book, Cold Comfort: One Man’s Struggle to Stop the Illegal Marketing of Powerful Opioid Drugs and Save Lives. He was featured on CBS-TV’s Whistleblower.

Boise, after exposing how Cephalon was illegally marketing off-label prescription drug usage, waited many years to see justice after wearing a wire, losing his job, becoming homeless, and black-balled by the pharmaceutical industry. At one point, he was flipping burgers for ten bucks an hour just to get by. Cephalon settled the case many years later with the United States for $425 million in fines and damages.

Today he advocates on behalf of whistleblowers and helps educate the public on the importance of supporting all whistleblowers.

Carrie Murray, Founder of BRA Network | Support & Community For Female Entrepreneurs Oct 21, 2020
    Show notes

Carrie is the founder of BRA – Business Relationship Alliance, a network of powerful women devoted to advancing female-owned businesses by providing the community, collaboration, mentorship, empowerment and support needed to flourish as an entrepreneur.

Carrie set out to create a community where the key factor was the advancement of female entrepreneurs (at all levels) and built its foundation on three fundamental core values: 1. Collaboration over competition; 2. Commitment to each other as professionals and to hire within their network first; and 3. Advance women as experts in business through educational opportunities. In doing that, she also created a community where women could be viewed as valuable while still feeling comfortable being vulnerable. Once she hit 100 members she left running the school to focus on BRA full time.

Carrie is also an active philanthropist donating both anonymously and publicly to organizations like Dress for Success, a nonprofit organization that empowers women to achieve economic independence, and WeSpark, which provides cancer treatment centers in Los Angeles. She still loyally drives her two kids to school every day and lives in Los Angeles with her husband, Sean Murray, from CBS’ hit show, NCIS.

Elizabeth Pipko, Author, Model, Novelist | Patriotism, Modelling, Politics Oct 07, 2020
    Show notes

Elizabeth Pipko captivated the public’s attention in 2019 when she revealed she kept her work on Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign a secret while simultaneously working as a model for one of the world's top agencies.

Now, the model and founder of The Exodus Movement is ready to reveal much more than her conservative views in a new book titled "Finding My Place: Making My Parents’ American Dream Come True."

Pipko, who's been dubbed a “rising star in the conservative movement” by some, says there’s a lot more to her than a quick Google search. In her upcoming memoir, Pipko plans to address a multitude of questions surrounding her platform, but ultimately, her story is one she hopes will evoke a sense of patriotism in readers amid a political divide she feels has increased significantly in recent years.

The model-turned-activist has a number of accolades at age 25. Signed to Wilhelmina at age 17 and appearing in high-fashion editorials in publications like Maxim and Esquire, she is also the founder of The Exodus Movement, which is committed to fighting the rising anti-Americanism and anti-Semitism of the far left, as well as promoting support for Israel.

In "Finding My Place," (her latest book) Pipko, a first-generation American, will reveal intimate details of her life, such as her parents' and grandparents' escape from the Soviet Union, which she says instilled in her the daily reminder of the freedom that comes from being born in America.
