Hour 1 - Mid-week day games during the holiday season should be a thing for the NFL moving forward Dec 20, 2021
    Show notes

Doug thinks that mid-week games should be a thing moving forward for the NFL during this part of the year. He says it makes sense given the waning interest in the college bowl games and the fact that the NFL is always looking for different ways to generate revenue. Regarding this week's controversy involving the Ravens' and head coach John Harbaugh's decision to go for a 2-pt conversion at the end of regulation instead of kick the extra point for the tie, Doug does not agree with Harbaugh's decision this time. Former pro-bowl safety Donte Whitner joins Doug to give his thoughts on the 49ers' surge over the second half of the season, Jimmy Garoppolo's role in their success, and to hit on over major topics coming out of week 15 of the NFL. Plus, Isaac Lewonkron takes Doug through a game of "Big Deal, Little Deal or No Deal?".

Hour 2 - Bucs had a bad loss against the Saints Dec 20, 2021
    Show notes

Doug thinks the loss by the Bucs Sunday night to the Saints looked bad in that they got shut out at home, but he also points out that the Bucs are in first place as predicted and that the NFL divisions are generally lining up the way most people predicted they would coming into the season. Doug thinks Urban Meyer is right when he says that coaches, players and society has gotten more sensitive, but Meyer's inability to realize that and adjust is a big reason why he is out of an NFL head coaching job. Former Pro-Bowl center Eric Wood joins Doug to talk about Urban Meyer, the Bills win this weekend and their upcoming game against New England, and other big topics around the NFL. Plus, Doug responds to Dan Patrick's take on how the NFL can better resolve their Covid issue.

Hour 3 - The Cardinals suffer a bad loss in Detroit Dec 20, 2021
    Show notes

Doug talks about the Cardinals' loss in Detroit Sunday, and how the way the Cardinals are going right now looks eerily like the way the Cards played a year ago at this time after a fast start. Doug also gives credit to Dan Campbell and the Lions for being a gutsy team. Doug hates to say he told you so, but he did give listeners 4 winners out of 5 picks over the weekend in the NFL, and shows his receipts. Lead College Football Analyst for FOX Sports Joel Klatt joins Doug to discuss Urban Meyer, whether he will coach again, and how different it is to be a head coach in this day and age. Plus, Isaac Lowenkron takes Doug through the Monday edition of "The Press".
