SB 110 - "Circle of Friends" Feb 12, 2024

Show notes

The iconic Circle of Friends known as Tanner, Jack, and Lewis get to the bottom of some deeply concerning facts about bachelor and bachelorette parties, bread-adjacent characters in movies, and some of the different things that friends can do in a circle. This week's Chris is O'Donnell, and he does not acquit himself particularly well in this film.

SB 108 - "The Incredible Jessica James" Jan 29, 2024

Show notes

One of the juiciest Chris-es this side of "Puffin Rock" AND a fellow podcaster in one movie means that the boys will have to muster the performance of a lifetime to do this delightful film justice. And boy, do they deliver. Prepare to meet Sir Edwin Chastity, an incredible new character who will doubtless be an enduring legacy of this year in podcasting.

SB 107 - "Celeste and Jesse Forever" Jan 22, 2024

Show notes

This week's Chris-es are Messina and (ever-so-briefly) Pine. Blink and you miss 'em, but we really do need to catch them all. We also need to check for Hobbits, rant, self-righteously, about how content was better in the aughts, and dramatically improve a wedding poem. Lots of work to do, so hop in! (Also, we're mustard bros this week. Probably best to warn you up front.)

SB 106 - "The Tomorrow War" Jan 08, 2024

Show notes

Remember when we did Swiftmas, and the time when Jack was at Grandma’s so we did one about Puffin Rock too? WELL F**KING FORGET ABOUT ALL OF THAT BECAUSE WE NEED TO FIND THAT ENERGY WE HAD WHEN ARBITER TANNER WENT MISSING AND ARBITER JACK CAME BACK RIDING THE GHOST OF CHRISTMAS FUTURE TO WHISK US AWAY TO SAVE HIM. Remember how pulse-pounding that was? This is the exciting conclusion! We also watched Chris Pratt in something. Ghost Draft, I think.

SB 104 - MERRY SWIFTMAS (It's "Valentine's Day") Dec 25, 2023

Show notes

Merry Swiftmas, y'all! As is traditional during Swiftmas, we will be celebrating Taylor by enjoying her hit 2010 film, "Valentine's Day." Any and all holidays that conflict with this fun, festive, family tradition will be summarily canceled.

SB 103 - "Ghosted" Dec 18, 2023

Show notes

Now is (continues) the winter of our "Chris" content, made funner by the "Chris" from "Civil War."

Y'all are going to need your "Ghosted" names for this one, so start thinking about that now! But before you get too excited — there's no easy way to say this, but, well ... the number of ghosts in this movie is probably not the number of ghosts that you're expecting. Don't worry — we're here for you.

SB 102 - "Snow White and The Huntsman" Dec 11, 2023

Show notes

Now is the winter of our "Chris" content, made gloriously dumber by the "Chris" from Thor. That's right, folks, it's a brand new content block to warm our hearts all through this bitter winter! So strap in and settle down for the very first "Chris" of the season: Hemsworth? "Kris"ten Stewart? Or is it multiple "Chris"es for the price of just one absolutely unhinged Charlize Theron?! This movie is bonkers.
