    Debbie Mayer is an author, speaker, and singer/songwriter who shares her story of grief, hope, and scriptural truths focused on an eternal perspective. Debbie and her husband Joe tragically lost three of their four children in a car crash in 2004. Since that time, Debbie has focused much of her time on sharing her story through inspirational speaking engagements. Most recently Debbie wrote a book entitled, "After the Crash: Grieving with Hope in Light of Eternity" She has also been a worship leader for over 30 years and currently co-leads a Grief-Share group with her husband Joe.

    In this interview Debbie shares her own story of both tragic loss, and unshakeable hope. She speaks to where that hope comes from, as well as how she was able to build a history and perspective that could withstand such unimaginable loss.     On Marriage, Dating, And Sex: A Counter Cultural Perspective with Jackie Francois Apr 15, 2019

    Jackie Francois is a worship leader, speaker, author, and blogger. In 2007, Jackie started full-time ministry, traveling around the world singing and speaking about God's love. Since then, she has released two original music albums "Your Kingdom is Glorious" and "Divine Comedy", as well as a book that she co-wrote with her husband entitled, "Forever: A Catholic Devotional for Your Marriage." In 2013, Jackie married her husband Bobby, and they now reside in Anaheim, CA with their three little kids.

    In this interview Jackie and I discuss the difference between what culture teaches us about sex, intimacy, dating, and marriage, and what scripture teaches us. Jackie begins by sharing her own story of how she met and fell in love with her now husband Bobby, and how and why a big part of their ministry and focus is speaking to young adults about what scripture teaches us about intimacy and marriage. We also discuss how to navigate the dating scene as a single woman, and then dive into the topic of marriage, and the importance of following Christ's model for marriage of self-sacrifice and laying our lives down for our spouse.     Today I am sitting down with Atlanta Georgia native, Hope Anusiem. Hope is a business management consultant with a passion for business and entrepreneurship. She also hails a Bachelors degree and MBA from Georgian Institute Of Technology. She is a survivor of both sexual abuse and domestic violence, and as a result Johanna is a passionate advocate for those whose voice won't be heard. Her work has been published in multiple media outlets such as, The Huffington Post, Darling Magazine, The Yellow Conference, Holl and Lane, and others.

    On the show today Johanna opens up and shares her powerful "Me too" story of how she survived both sexual and domestic abuse. She speaks to what inspired her to devote her entire life to fighting injustice. And also shares about the power of letting go of shame and stepping into your calling.     Navigating Grief And An Introduction To The Enneagram with Danielle Bennett Mar 18, 2019

    On this episode I sit down with the incredible, Danielle Bennett. Danielle is a poet, communicator, and educator, who currently works in communications at an education non-profit in Los Angeles.

    Danielle has a Masters in Education from Loyola Marymount University, where she wrote her thesis on arts education as a venue for social justice. Her work has also been featured in multiple podcasts and publications.

    On the show today Danielle shares one of her most well received pieces of written work to date, a poem called She, which has influenced thousands since it was first shared with the public three years ago. She discusses the inspiration for this poem, as well as the journey she went on to get to where she is now as a poet, a teacher, and a communications professional. Danielle also opens up about her experience of walking through the most painful season of her life in 2018, and shares some comforting words of advice and encouragement for those walking through grief and burn out.
