Lisa speaks with world renowned master ballet teacher, Russian superstar Madame Olga Vaginova about learning to love yourself, finding connection and making the world a better place one "one pirouette at a time".
Born in the desolate snow capped mountains of Russia, Olga was just five years old when her mother Daria recognized her talent. At the age of fourteen, Olga was the youngest ballerina to ever join the ranks of the Great Russian Ballet and that same year to perform the title role of "Giselle." During her legendary career she performed all the full length ballets and won numerous prizes. Madame Olga resides in Manhattan and is in high demand for her distinctive teaching style which stays true to the purity of Russian ballet, while at the same time pushing artistic boundaries to evolve dance into the future. Brothers Page, Connecting Authentically Through Music in the Digital Age Aug 17, 2020
    Show notes

Let us know what you enjoy about the show!

Join Lisa for this insightful and inspiring conversation with brothers Zach and Josh Page of the electronic folk/rock Instagram sensation Brothers Page.
The secret behind their success boils down to one very important thing: family.
Having grown up in the outskirts of New York on an alpaca farm, the brothers' childhood was nurturing, filled to the brim with love and encouragement. Studying theatre, classical, and popular music, the pair attended the Professional Performing Arts School in Manhattan, fine tuning their virtuosity from adolescence.
Brothers Page has built their multifaceted career independently by combining their unique sets of skills and honing in on the power of real connection with their fans. This connection cannot be understated, as their 1.4 million fans from across the globe have rushed to support their weekly covers since 2011. Following the viral sensation of their videos and the reception of accolades from a wide range of renowned talents such as the Jonas Brothers, The Chainsmokers, Maroon 5, One Republic, Portugal. The Man, Josh Groban, and Ellen DeGeneres, the Page brothers have begun to release their highly anticipated original music.
A genuine grassroots effort, all the music from Brothers Page is written, produced, mixed, & mastered entirely by the duo themselves. Zach’s β€œDr. Seuss-esque” lyricism, incredible mastery of the guitar, and rooted energy, combined with Josh’s classically trained vocals and dream-like disposition allows the brothers to capitalize off the power of combining the yin with the yang.
A theme quintessential to their message, Brothers Page revels and embraces disparity. Deeply inspired by nature but committed to utilizing technology to bring their music to the masses, the sounds they expel into the world are meant to act as a beacon of light. In a cultural climate where family and wholesome energy is rarely glorified, Brothers Page seeks to create music that brings lighthearted warmth and positivity to the world in an honest, authentic way.
