“Ramón Did” (DJ Khaled - ‘God Did’ Review) - BONUS EPISODE Aug 29, 2022

Show notes

Ramón Did! Armon pops back into the studio to review and react to DJ Khaled's 13th studio album 'God Did.' He talks his first introduction to DJ Khaled, how Khaled has grown over the years, his promotional efforts sometimes not matching the quality of music, and finally, the album itself: the highly lauded Jay-Z verse on "God Did," the hit potential of Future and SZA's "Beautiful," and some wishes for some of the featured artists. “Y’all Don’t Wanna Be Healthy?” (The State of Male R&B) - BONUS EPISODE Jul 18, 2022

Show notes

You might as well call this one The State Of The R&B Union Address. Armon pops back into the studio to assess recent releases from Giveon, Brent Faiyaz and Chris Brown before deep diving the current state of male R&B. He covers topics like the lack of upbeat records, the lack of male-female R&B duets, the words "toxic" and "vibe" and how they are ruining the genre, the lack of true stars, and much more. It's a spirited discussion loaded with laughs and hard truths. Needless to say, Nic might have been right in Season 1's "R&Beef" episode. You be the judge!
