Raiders head to Denver to take on the Broncos to end the season Dec 31, 2020
    Show notes

Jimmy, Vic, Ted and Tashan preview the Raiders season finale vs the Broncos in Denver on Sunday. Not really sure what to expect in the finale since both teams are out of the playoffs and banged up. Will the Raiders play more young guys or still with the team that got them here this season? What are some things that the team needs to improve on in the offseason? Will they try to bring back Nelson Agholar or will his price tag be too much for the Silver and Black? Ruggs and Edwards struggled this season and the guys talk about the reasons why they think that happened. They break down their over-under wagers on Raiders players stats that they did in the preseason. And they take some questions and give their predictions for Raiders at Broncos.

Postgame- Week 16- Dolphins beat the Raiders 26-25 with some craziness in the last minute Dec 27, 2020
    Show notes

Jimmy, Ted, Vic and Tashan break down the Raiders 26-25 loss to the Dolphins and all the craziness that happened in the 4th quarter. A tough crushing loss for the Raiders that eliminated them from the playoffs. Was the decision to play for the field goal late the right or wrong call? Things changed offensively for Miami when Ryan Fitzpatrick came into the game and showed off a little FitzMagic. The guys discuss some interesting play calls and why some players are getting more targets then others. Should the Raiders have had some packages with Mariota running the ball? Should Ruggs be much more involved in the offense or is there a reason he hasn't been getting a lot of targets?

Raiders look to end the season with some positives heading into next season Dec 23, 2020
    Show notes

Jimmy, Ted, Vic and Tashan give their thoughts on what positives they want to see from the Raiders in the last 2 games of the season to build towards next season. Raiders are pretty much eliminated from playoff contention, but they are still alive with many things needing to go their way to get in. Derek Carr is pushing to play vs Miami, but we will see on Saturday what the team decides. Mariota looked very intriguing last week and it could be worth giving a longer look for the Hawaiian QB. On a positive note, Josh Jacobs & Darren Waller were named to the Pro Bowl. Much deserved for 2 of the Raiders big offensive weapons. They talk about a few guys who could make the Pro Bowl next season if they keep progressing. They discuss if Covid and injuries are an excuse for the Raiders late season struggles. They answer some questions and give their predictions for the game against the Dolphins in Vegas on Saturday.

Postgame- Week 15- Carr injured in 30-27 OT Loss to the Chargers on TNF Dec 18, 2020
    Show notes

Jimmy, Vic, Tashan and Ted break down the Raiders 30-27 OT loss to the Chargers on Thursday Night Football. Just a strange and weird football game between 2 struggling teams. Derek Carr injured his groin in the first half and Marcus Mariota came in for his season debut and gave a spark to the team. He gave the team a shot to win the game, but threw a interception late in regulation. It could be interesting to see what Mariota can do if Carr is gonna miss time with his injury. The Raiders defense continued to struggle and guys seemed to be slipping and take bad routes to defend guys. It really showed late when the Chargers beat them deep in OT to set up the Herbert game winning td plunge. The guys break down what big picture things they took away from this game. One of them is that this current draft class has pretty much been a bust and they wonder if that could put GM Mike Mayock on notice and warm up his bum.

Postgame- Week 14- Colts dominate the Raiders 44-27 & DC Paul Guenther fired after the game Dec 14, 2020
    Show notes

Jimmy, Vic, Ted and Tashan break down the Raiders 44-27 loss to the Colts and Defensive Coordinator Paul Guenther getting fired after the loss. The big story is that Guenther was fired a few hours after the loss and Rod Marinelli will take over as the interim defensive coordinator to finish the season. Was it Guether's schemes, was it the players signed to improve the defense that didn't or was it a combo of both? The guys think that this is a possible move to fire up the defense heading into the final 3 games of the season with their playoff hopes still alive. Getting Trent Brown and Josh Jacobs was helpful for the offense, but again the turnover bug struck. A short week for new DC Rod Marinelli as they take on the Chargers on Thursday night.

A possible full strength Raiders team welcomes the Colts to Las Vegas on Sunday Dec 10, 2020
    Show notes

Jimmy, Vic, Tashan and Ted preview the Raiders upcoming home game vs the Colts on Sunday and how they could be getting some of their big named players back for it. The Colts and Raiders are neck and neck in the playoff standings heading into this big game in Vegas on Sunday. Reports from Raiders practice on Wednesday said they expect Josh Jacobs, Trent Brown and Johnathan Abram back for the Colts game, which is huge for the Silver and Black. They will need Trent Brown back vs a very strong Colts defense and hopefully that will get the run game going as well. They break down how former Chargers foe Philip Rivers has looked so far this season with Indy. The o-line has really helped him a lot this year, but Rivers arm isn't what it used to be on the long ball. Former Raider DB Daryl Worley is back with the Raiders and the guys discuss if he can help a beat up secondary. They answer some reader/listener questions and give their predictions for Raiders-Colts in Vegas on Sunday

Postgame- Week 13- Raiders get a dramatic last second 31-28 Win vs the Jets Dec 07, 2020
    Show notes

Jimmy, Vic, Tashan and Ted break down the Raiders dramatic last second 31-28 win vs the Jets in New York. Carr to Ruggs for a 46 yard miracle TD with 5 seconds left to win it for the Silver and Black. The Jets had a shot to win their first game of the season, but come up a little short. An ugly first half, but the Raiders led 17-13 at half. The Raiders take on the Colts next Sunday with lots of playoff intrigue.

Raiders head East to take on the lowly Jets and get back on track Dec 03, 2020
    Show notes

Jimmy, Tashan, Vic and Ted preview the Raiders upcoming game in NY vs the terrible 0-11 New York Jets. Coming off a butt kicking from the Falcons, the Raiders look to bounce back and the perfect opponent is next up for the Silver and Black on Sunday, the winless Jets. Not a ton of positive things to say about the Jets, other then they are decent vs the run and Frank Gore is still playing some productive football at the age of 37. The Raiders are getting healthy and finally don't have any players on the Covid-19 reserved list. Trent Brown is back, but won't play this week vs the Jets. With Jacobs a little banged up, the guys expect Booker to get more carries vs the Jets and especially if the game is a blow out. The guys answer some listener/reader questions and they give their predictions for Raiders-Jets. And spoiler... nobody picked the Jets to get their 1st win of the season.

Postgame- Week 12- Falcons dominate the Raiders 43-6 down in the ATL Nov 30, 2020
    Show notes

Jimmy, Ted, Vic and Tashan break down the Falcons crushing the Raiders in Atlanta 43-6 in Week 12. Raiders had a lot of issues in this game. Turnovers were the biggest issue for the Silver and Black and that led to short fields for Matt Ryan and the Falcons offense. Raiders o-line played maybe their worst game of the season. Penalties were also a huge problem for the Raiders and they turned some big plays into yards for ATL. Carr continues to have issues with the football and it might not be something that he can work on and fix. Raiders face the winless Jets next week.
