Ken Liu is an author of speculative fiction, as well as a translator, lawyer, and programmer. A winner of the Nebula, Hugo, and World Fantasy awards, he is the author of The Dandelion Dynasty, a silkpunk epic fantasy series The Grace of Kings The Wall of Storms, and a forthcoming third volume) and The Paper Menagerie and Other Stories, a collection. He also wrote the Star Wars novel, The Legends of Luke Skywalker (2017). In addition to his original fiction, Ken also translated numerous works from Chinese to English, including The Three-Body Problem (2014), by Liu Cixin, and “Folding Beijing,” by Hao Jingfang, both Hugo winners.

Three-dimensional visualization of spatial data is a favorite pastime, and she has spent many hours translating real-Earth elevation data into unique 3D worlds. R.K. Nickel works as screenwriter in Los Angeles. His first feature film, Bear with Us, is available on Amazon Prime, and “Stellar People,” a sci-fi comedy series he wrote for Adaptive Studios, will be coming out sometime in 2018. He dove into his prose journey in 2017, during which he made his first six sales and was lucky enough to attend the Odyssey Writing Workshop. When he’s not writing, he’s probably trapped in a room, either because he’s doing an escape room or because the lock on his door broke again. Stupid lock.

She does independent research on genocide, having worked on war crimes investigations for the International Criminal Tribunal, and did CSI work for a decade in California. Oddly enough, she was once a marine biologist at the Institute of Marine & Coastal Studies at USC. She has two novels out - Rough Magic, a forensic/urban fantasy, and Dragon’s Kiss, a YA fantasy about a crippled boy who can talk to dragons. She writes mystery, horror, science fiction, and fantasy. Her hobbies include exploring cathedrals, alien-building via nonhuman biology, and trawling through history books for the juicy bits.
