Larry David didn’t really want to come on the podcast. But in classic Larry fashion, he showed up anyway and delivered a masterclass in comedy, revealing the real Larry: grumpy, generous, and unmistakably a mensch.

In this season finale, walks Elon and Eli through why conflict is at the heart of everything funny, how the stories on Seinfeld and Curb get “puzzled” together, and why he can’t stand convenient coincidences, even when they work. Along the way, the conversation drifts through stolen impressions, Shabbat dinner stories, run-ins with SNL censors, and the meaning of “pretty, pretty, pretty good.”

Elon Gold tells the unbelievable (and very Jewish) origin story of how he met Larry David, by showing up at his office on his birthday with zero appointment and maximum chutzpah. With Eli Leonard, the former Curb production assistant turned idea-machine, they trace the funny, painfully real road from rejection to the call: “You’re doing the show.” It’s a story of chutzpah, persistence, and one perfectly timed Shabbat dinner.

Elon Gold and Eli Leonard sit down with Yonit Levi, long-time lead news anchor of Israel’s Channel 12, and CNN anchor Bianna Golodryga to talk about their new book Don’t Feed the Lion. After October 7, both women faced the same urgent question from their kids — Why does antisemitism still exist? When they couldn't resources to help explain it, they teamed up to write a story-driven book for tweens and teens about identity, hate, and standing up with compassion and clarity. What follows is a funny, sharp, and deeply personal conversation about parenting, public life, rising antisemitism, and the responsibility of using your voice — especially now.
