Today we focus on an interesting discovery: Anakin's deleted scene during the Palpatine and Mace Windu fight in Episode III. Listen as we open up the Behind the Scenes - Bonus DVD from Episode III - Revenge of the Sith. This bonus segment highlights Palpatine, enhanced with interviews by Ian McDiramid and George Lucas. Ian McDiramid began playing Palpatine in The Empire Strikes Back. This has allowed him to develop a rich understanding of Palpatine which transferred into a brilliant performance. Ian brought Darth Sidious to life. Within this interesting segment, we are zeroing in on Anakin’s deleted scene. Basically Anakin shows up when Mace and Palpatine are fighting. This scene never made it to the movie, it was rewritten and reshot so we never got to see it.
