WHY DID PALPATINE LOSE TO MACE WINDU IN REVENGE OF THE SITH - STAR WARS EXPLAINED Dec 10, 2021

Show notes

Why did Mace Windu Lose to Palpatine in Revenge of the Sith? Now while I know many Windu fans are thinking hey, he didn’t lose, he just got blind sided by Anakin. I couldn’t agree more with you, but there’s more to it than just that. While some say Palpatine was toying with him until Anakin showed up, and others think he merely just made a mistake, we’re here to once and for all, with canon evidence, state the facts. PALPATINE'S POINT OF VIEW OF THE WORLD BETWEEN WORLDS CANON Dec 10, 2021

Show notes

The world between worlds in Star Wars Rebels (CANON) made us realize that there exists a time and space in Star Wars where all events in the galaxy at any time can be seen or heard. Ezra grabbed Ahsoka as she fought Vader and saved her through the portal. Palpatine was able to open the portal, somewhat, and reach into it with the force after using some Sith sorcercy. Here are Sidious's thoughts on the world between worlds in CANON, from Episode 9 Rise of Skywalker. Learn more about your ad choices. PLAGUEIS + PALPATINE + ANAKIN - LUCASFILM THERE ARE BETTER WAYS OF DOING THIS PLEASE… Dec 09, 2021

Show notes

In the latest canon book Secrets of the Sith, we get information regarding Palpatine having tried to create a force dyad with Anakin, and Plagueis having tried to create one with Palpatine from the start. This never was a thing. In the last 40 years of Star Wars, Dyads have not existed, nor was it something Palpatine knew about. Just like Vader didn't know Exegol existed, nor did he visit it, like they're now making him do (why wouldn't he just tell Luke where it is as a ghost later on?). I would like to raise my concerns regarding this constant backtracking they keep doing and changing the prequels and originals in order to match their sequel trilogy. IS THIS WHAT PALPATINE COULD WANT FROM GROGU IN THE MANDALORIAN SEASON 3 Dec 09, 2021

Show notes

In the Revenge of the Sith novelization by Matthew Stover, we get a really cool bit of inner monologue from Palpatine when Yoda shows up in his office (just after the transmission with Anakin Skywalker on Mustafar after eliminating the Separatists during order 66). He says this: "But his physical presence was an illusion; the truth of him could be seen only in the Force. In the Force, he was a fountain of light. “Pity your new disciple I do; so lately an apprentice, so soon without a Master.” “Why, Master Yoda, what a delightful surprise! Welcome!” The voice of the shadow hummed with anticipation. “Let me be the first to wish you Happy Empire Day!” “Find it happy, you will not. Nor will the murderer you call Vader.” “Ah.” The shadow stepped closer to the light. “So that is the threat I felt. Who is it, if I may ask? Who have you sent to kill him?” “Enough it is that you know your own destroyer.” I think this is really enlightening (pun intended) as to how Sidious viewed Yoda, that he was a fountain of light itself. Renewed energy constantly flowing in the light side of the force. Does this give a little credit as to why he's so obsessed with Grogu, or rather, why the remnants of the Empire are so obsessed with the the experiments done on Grogu? Could Grogu be more than just a body to clone or transfer essence into? Could it be to, dare I say, find a means of prolonging life as Yoda's ageing process is much better than Palpatine's. Imagine if Palpatine lived to be 900 years old. The things he could achieve would be extraordinary to say the least. Learn more about your ad choices.
