Stay ConnectedStabbyQuest is a story-focused, actual-play tabletop roleplaying game podcast.
A ram’s head necklace. A spool of thread. A long-dead legend. How are they connected, and what does their arrival mean for Sandpoint, nay, for Golarion? Find out, in StabbyQuest!
This is a quicker episode, getting us through the gang's second return to the Deadly Mine, before they head out to Aluin's. As usual, there are a ton of spoilers in these episodes, so if you are waiting for all of the campaigns questions to be answered "in-game", we will return to our regular game sessions soon.

This StabbyQuest "Behind the Dice" Episode spans two sessions, picking up where BTD part 02 left off. (Where else did they see an orange ring with candles?!)
In the second session, the gang sans Sarowyn talks about working realizations into the main gameplay sessions, "Main" quests vs. "PC" quests, making a plan, and why Sarowyn has so many damn secrets.
As always for these Behind the Dice sessions: SPOILERS AHEAD!

This is our second Behind the Dice episode. If you missed SQ Behind the Dice, part 1, you can find it wherever podcasts are found!
These Behind the Dice episodes are a casual interview format. There is less editing than we usually do on the tracks. We talk meta about the characters, Tabletop RPGs, and the StabbyQuest campaign.
Spoiler warning: This episode contains lots of 'em! That said, if you don't mind hearing spoilers, listen on!
In this episode we begin by remembering when and where the gang first met, and... well, to be completely honest a lot more plot realizations happened than I expected.

Welcome to a little special something we've put to together for you: We're calling it "StabbyQuest: Behind the Dice"! In these episodes we'll be speaking with the cast about their trip through this campaign and this project, how they felt about certain aspects of the game, their characters, and each other. And me, as it turns out.
This is a casual interview format. There is less editing than we usually do on the tracks. There is a cat in the background.
Additionally, THERE ARE SPOILERS! SO many spoilers. That said, if you don't mind hearing spoilers as they sort out what the hell is going on with this ship, with Aluin, and everything else, listen on!

The gang struggles with committing to (and remembering) what they should do next. Sarowyn struggles with the lack of modern conveniences. Taat struggles with being a Shaman.
After discovering that the sickle Taat stole from the boat has been changing shape over time, they add this phenomenon to the list of questions they intend to ask... someone!
They continue to prepare before leaving for Aluin's Manor in the hopes of finding some of those "Ultimate Answers", but first... they need horses. Too bad they got fired and lost their Deputy status.
A huge thank you to all of our amazing Patrons, especially Ian R and Magnanimemmy, our Crazy Old Wizards in the Woods!

The gang continues trying to sort out what the hell is going on in town, how Aluin fits into all of this, and the risks of leaving town to visit him again. They make a plan to stock up and head out before a comment from Kallis sets Taat down a path of realization, and they discover something they've been lugging around may not be exactly what it seems.

The gang barely manages to see the Guest Ledger at the Rusty Dragon, confirming the story of the two mustachioed men they met in the Hog's Head, and then followed back here last night.
They then seek assistance in solving the smeared note "puzzle" they found in Cedrin's room, before realizing something important...

The gang continues uncovering information as they tie the group manning the ship in the harbor with the local crime outfit. They put a security "failsafe" in place before heading off to verify some information they got a couple of nights ago. As usual, they start the recon plan before finalizing it.
We pick back up this week with the gang learning from Brodert that Aluin Menard was alive and well a mere two weeks ago. The topic of interest becomes Aluin's fate, and they continue the questioning of their acquaintances at the Curious Goblin.
Taat finds... well, buys, an artifact of power, before the gang heads off to check in with Charlie, who they haven't seen since they left in the closet of the Pixie's Kitten after their last ship excursion.
Secrets are shared and the information delivery trend continues as the group attempts to reconcile what they've seen, connect the dots, and then fit those various pieces together... until they think to ask Brodert about the crazy old wizard in the woods and discover -yet another- piece to this puzzle.
