Flight 66 - Rona, 6 Minute Flights, and the Cadet Program Dec 24, 2020
    Show notes

Recorded on the 21st DEC, 2020.

On today’s show the Squawk Ident crew and I discuss Covid on the Flight Line, the Aviation Business Information Board on Facebook, and Flight Schedules during the holiday season. We also spend a moment with a new segment call From the Hanger where we visit with our very own Captain Roger as he gives us a brief audio tour of the Dassault Falcon 2000. As if that is not enough to cover in this episode, we also have some very special guests today. You may remember him from episode 46 of Squawk Ident, All in the Flying Family, Mr. Kyle Jansen stops by to introduce to the show a few of “Legacy" Airlines’ Cadet Program Pilots. They sit down with us and discuss the program, the challenges within, and how their development with pilot training is going so far. We also have the privilege in speaking with Jennifer Blum, a program recruiter for American Airlines’ Cadet Recruitment.

This is episode 65 of Squawk Ident, “Throw a Nickel on the Grass”, recorded on the 11th of December, 2020, from the Av8r Sound Studios from somewhere in Southern California. On today’s show I have the privilege in sitting down with my favorite podcast co-hosts from the podcast universe. Rob, Roger, and I wanted to spend this episode discussing recent events within our industry, vaccines and the FAA, our latest flying adventures (or lack there of), escape routes over mountainous terrain, and a little drama about luggage. We also wanted to share a tribute to a legend in aviation that has recently taken his final flight west. Please join us as we tip our hats to Brigadier General Charles Elwood Yeager.

    Flight 61 - Realities of Recovery Nov 05, 2020
    Show notes

Recorded on the 2nd of November, 2020

On today’s special episode of the Squawk Ident podcast, we are very grateful to have the opportunity to speak with an aviator who has navigated some rather challenging obstacles along his fantastic journey in aviation. His exceptional story tackles a topic that is often too uncomfortable for many pilots to even discuss. He shares with us how his disease nearly put an end to his aviation career and how his recovery, thanks to the HIMS program, saved his life. Hopefully, someone out there listening will hear about his journey and decide that it is time to take that first step and ask for help. Joining us from his home in Eagleville, Tennessee, is Mr. David W.

    Flight 60 - Flight Deck Distractions Oct 27, 2020
    Show notes

Recorded on the 26th of October, 2020

On todays show, I am so very fortunate to be joined by my magnificent Squawk Ident flight crew members, Rob D and Captain Roger. The three of us have been texting back and forth over the last few days because of a few aircraft accidents that have headlined aviation news. We aviators usually pay close attention when we hear of an aircraft issue. Not because we like to chase fire trucks, but more so because any incident that occurs on the flight line is an opportunity to improve upon our understanding and knowledge on the best way to tackle an inflight situation. We will also discuss what we have learned from these incidents and how Flight Deck Distractions can lead to some disastrous results. Plus, through some feedback from a loyal listener we will explore some aviation films to hit the silver screen.

On todays show I am joined by my magnificent Squawk Ident co-hosts. That’s right, both Rob D and Captain Roger join us for this very special episode of the Squawk Ident Podcast. We have the privilege to have on program some very special guests that share their amazing journeys in both aviation and internet stardom.
