    GFIM OE Nov 08, 2023
    Show notes

The Army is moving multiple systems from the industrial era to the information such as the recent G-ARMY and IPPS-A transitions. GFIM is part of that transformation, an effort for the Army to be more data-centric and support 2030 efforts. This includes the sunsetting of 15 legacy systems and absorbing those functions into one system that produces the necessary authoritative data in support of Army efforts across the compos. These 15 systems do not talk to one another, and thus, the transformation gives Force Managers more flexibility and agility with data management
