Costacos and his brother Tock created a historic brand that sold all over the world. Now, Costacos along with CEO Justin Moorad and Digital Art Lead Mike Campau, the Costacos Collection is partnering with legendary athletes to sell digital art as non-fungible tokens. In this episode, Costacos discussed the origin of the poster company, and how being a Seattle sports fan lead him down this path. Then, he succinctly explains the NFT process and previews the new line of images being released.     Longtime New York sportscaster Don La Greca is a co-host of the Michael Kay Show on ESPN New York 98.7FM. That show is simulcast daily on the YES Network. Don has been with ESPN NY since 2001 and was the first-ever voice for that station on September 3rd, 2001. Don is the pre/post-game host for the New York Rangers on radio and fills in on play-by-play for Kenny Albert (Episode 249).     "Show Me the Money!" Longtime super-agent Leigh Steinberg joined the show to discuss his illustrious career as well as his thoughts on issues facing the NFL. Steinberg has represented many of the most successful athletes and coaches in football, basketball, baseball, hockey, boxing, golf, etc., including the number one overall pick in the NFL draft for an unprecedented eight times in conjunction with 62 total first-round picks. His clients include Troy Aikman, Steve Young, Warren Moon, Bruce Smith, Thurman Thomas, Kordell Stewart, Jeff George, Ben Roethlisberger, Myron Rolle, Matt Leinart, Mark Brunell, Ricky Williams, Howie Long, Eric Karros, Dusty Baker, Lennox Lewis, Oscar de la Hoya and John Starks. Steinberg is often credited as the real-life inspiration of the sports agent from the film Jerry Maguire. In this episode, he discusses how he got involved in the film and the story behind its creation. He also offered comments on Ben Roethlisberger's career, including allegations against him. He also addressed the NFL's entertainment empire and his concerns about concussions. He also addressed how NIL will impact college sports.


    334. Former FOX Sports President Ed Goren Jan 12, 2022

    After more than four decades in the business, former FOX Sports Vice Chairman Ed Goren joined the show to talk about his illustrious Hall of Fame career. Goren is a 47-time Emmy Award winner and Executive Producer of FOX Sports since its inception in 1994. This episode started as a tribute to another icon, the late John Madden. The conversation evolved into incredible stories about working for FOX CEO Rupert Murdoch and the creation of the “glowing puck” that FOX used in the '90s for his NHL coverage. Goren also offered his thoughts on the growing streaming business, and how sports television is evolving. Goren was inducted into the Broadcasting & Cable Hall of Fame, in October 2011 and the Sports Broadcasting Hall of Fame in December 2012, fitting tributes to his long and distinguished career.


    333. Remembering John Madden with FOX Sports' Tom Rinaldi Jan 05, 2022

    The first podcast episode of 2022 is the first of two tributes to the late NFL icon John Madden. Madden died at the age of 85 on December 28, 2021. He was a Hall of Fame coach of the Oakland Raiders, an iconic broadcaster for four different networks, and the namesake and co-creator of the equally iconic Madden Football video game by EA Sports. Award-winning reporter Tom Rinaldi of FOX Sports was an executive producer on the recently released documentary, “All-Madden.” Rinaldi has won 16 Sports Emmy Awards and seven Edward R. Murrow Awards. He was at ESPN for over a decade. In this episode, Rinaldi offers behind-the-scenes information on the documentary, including Madden's reaction to seeing it, just days before his passing.

    This episode continues a 4-year tradition where long-time radio host Scott Seidenberg, now with VSIN, joins the show. Back in 2018, the show was supposed to be posted on Christmas Day, and there was no episode ready to go. Enter Scott, as he and Seth and many other people who do not celebrate Christmas usually spend it eating Chinese food and watching sports and cartoons. That year, they got together and talked about the year in sports. Then, in 2019, they did it again. Now, as 2021 comes to a close, Scott rejoins the show to talk about the continuing issues with Covid impacting the world in sports. They also discuss how sports will handle it going forward, and how different leagues are handling it all very differently.     This special episode centers around the 122nd matchup between Army and Navy. The game took place on December 11, 2021, at Metlife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Former player and longtime CBS analyst Gary Danielson worked his 13th Army-Navy game while Ross Tucker called the game for Westwood One Radio. This episode's focus is not on the game, which Navy won 17-13. Instead, the focus was on the patriotism and unification displayed in a society that is as divided as ever.
