Buccaneers Head Coach Bruce Arians now says that only 1 of 3 interceptions that Jameis Winston threw on Sunday was his fault as they prepare for the Carolina Panthers on a short week. It wasn't a good open to the Bruce Arians era in Tampa Bay as the Bucs lose 31-17 to the 49ers as the offense scores just 1 touchdown, gives up two 'Pick Sixes', 4 turnovers and 2 touchdowns called back on penalties. Rick Stroud and Eduardo Encina break down the tough loss which saw the defense play well including getting a Pick Six of their own from Vernon Hargreaves and saw running back Ronald Jones play well but once again the decision making of Jameis Winston is questioned as 2 interceptions were bad throws by him that shouldn't have been made.

Rays Rolling After Sweep of Indians, Bucs Cut Roster To 53, and USF and Florida State Have Rough Starts To Season Sep 03, 2019

The Rays win their 5th straight as they once again lead the AL Wild Card race over Cleveland and Oakland as the bats have come back to life including Tommy Pham delivering the game winner in the 10th inning on Monday. The Rays stand 23-games above .500 with 23 games to play as the rosters expand so they have more pitchers to matchup. The Bucs cut their roster to 53 over the weekend with a surprising cut in Noah Spence, plus a trade with Pittsburgh for offensive tackle Jerald Hawkins and they claim running back T.J. Logan to add to their backfield. In College Football both USF and Florida State disappoint in their openers as the Bulls lose 49-0 to Wisconsin and the Seminoles blow an 18-point lead to Boise State. Bucs Finish Preseason With A Win In Dallas & Rays Wins A Wild One In Houston Aug 30, 2019

Rick Stroud is in Dallas where the Bucs wrapped up the preseason with a 17-15 win over Dallas as several guys made cases to make the team like Jack Cichy and others may have faltered like Scotty Miller. Matt Gay looks like he's won the kicking battle and Vincent Testaverde Jr. played well as his dad watched 30 years after playing for the Bucs himself. The Rays win a wild game in Houston where they kept giving runs back to the Astros and Colin Poche even walked 5 batters in 1 inning. Plus College Football has started and the Florida State-Boise State game has moved to Tallahassee on Saturday because of Hurricane Dorian.
