Next, Rob and Kristie jump into the world of Name, Image, and Likeness. Rob shares how Adidas is going all in partnering with college athletes to pay them to be ambassadors of their brand. Rob asks could this cause a shift in the athletic wear market encouraging more schools to become Adidas schools instead of Nike schools? Then Rob shares a new NIL deal a cheerleader has earned as she saved the day in a recent NCAA tournament game.
Rob then switches gears and gives an update on Brittney Griner's situation in Russia. Rob shares a story on her potential imprisonment and the severe punishment she could be facing.
Staying in the world of basketball, Rob and Kristie discuss New York's to allow non-vaccinated entertainers and athletes to return to their work in NYC. They also discuss how this will effect the Nets with Kyrie Irving now being allowed to play home games again. They also discuss a recent post by Zion Williamson and what he was trying to accomplish with his dunking post. They finish NBA news with an update on the Lakers and Lebron and Rob shares Lebron's post game routine.
