외국어 배우기는 시간이 걸리죠. 시간 걸리는 일을 하려면 이걸 왜 하는지 아는 게 필요합니다. 영어 배우는 이유를 모르고 시작한다면 아무리 기초 영문법을 파고 들고 기초 영단어를 외워도, 추진력이 붙질 않죠. 영어 잘하는 법을 여기저기서 주워들어도 이 추진력이 없으면 소용 없습니다. 한국어 잘하는 외국인들을 보면 한국어 배운 이유가 다들 확실하거든요. 오늘은 왜 영어를 배우는 지, 왜 한국어를 배우는 지, 그 이유에 대해 얘기해 봅니다.
