    Driving the legendary No. 48 Chevrolet for Hendrick Motorsports, Bowman has proved himself as a top-tier contender with eight Cup victories. But behind the thrilling track battles lies a complex story of resilience. In this episode, Alex dives deep into his decision to sign a one-year contract extension through 2027 to wrap up his full-time career on his own terms—fulfilling a personal plan he’s held since joining HMS nearly a decade ago.

    Ericsson Ends Drought, Larson’s Jet-Lagged Triumph & D.C. Prepares For IndyCar! Aug 17, 2026

    In this episode of SPEED with Harvick and Buxton, fueled by POET, Will Buxton and Kevin Harvick dive headfirst into a action-packed week from across the global motorsports spectrum. The duo kicks things off in INDYCAR, where Marcus Ericsson snapped a 63-race drought with a late-race charge to win the inaugural Ontario Honda Dealers Indy at Markham, while Alex Palou continued to build a crushing points lead despite the street circuit chaos.

    Over in NASCAR, Joey Logano held off a late-charge from Chase Briscoe at Richmond to secure his second Cup victory of the season, while Kaden Honeycutt turned exciting personal news into on-track dominance with a wire-to-wire beatdown in the Craftsman Truck Series.

    The show takes a deep dive into international racing news, covering Marcin Budkowski taking the reins as Cadillac’s new Formula 1 Team Principal during the summer shutdown, Carlos Sainz's impending contract extension with Williams, and Pascal Wehrlein securing his second Formula E World Championship in a dramatic London E-Prix finale.

    Ty Gibbs Beats Teammate at Iowa, Palou Dominates Portland, Verstappen Out? | SPEED Aug 10, 2026

    Speed is back with Will Buxton & Kevin Harvick to break down an incredible weekend of racing! In Iowa, Ty Gibbs fended off teammate Christopher Bell to take home the checkered flag at the Iowa Corn 350. Gibbs is the first driver since Kurt Busch to win the first two short‑track races of his Cup career. NASCAR tightened up stage‑break procedures starting this weekend at Iowa, aiming to cut down on long caution stretches and cleaner transitions.


    While over in Indycar, Alex Palou dominates in Portland to extend his lead while finishing over Felix Rosenqvist & Will Power. Palou has pretty much all, but locked up the title. IndyCar just dropped a bombshell: the IR‑28, a lighter, faster, more aggressive next‑gen car is set to debut in 2028, a full‑scale reset for the series.
