    The silly season rolls on in the IndyCar paddock and Speed Street is here with the latest developments. Conor Daly joins Producer Bobby to react to the news of Dennis Hauger's multi-year signing with the A.J. Foyt Racing team, along with the departure of Santino Ferrucci.     2026 Indy NXT Champion Nikita Johnson joins the show to share his impressions of becoming the youngest series champion in history and what it was like to pick up a crown for Cape Motorsports. Nikita speaks on his ambitions to be a part of the IndyCar grid in the 2027 season and reveals that he has a deal in the works to be announced in the coming weeks, ahead of the busy fall/winter testing schedule.

That's right, Conor Daly makes the announcement that he'll be joining the Dreyer Reinbold Racing team on a multi-year deal beginning in the 2027 season. He joins Producer Bobby on Speed Street this week to discuss how the deal came together and how DRR will expand from a part-time, Indianapolis 500 entrant to full-time, Honda powered program. The guys also chat about the IndyCar season finale race at Laguna Seca and the latest silly season happenings.

    Laguna Seca winner Scott McLaughlin joins the show to recap his dominant showing to end the 2026 season. The guys chat about the highs and lows of the year and how positive momentum for the 3-team began after a test at Mid-Ohio. Even though the rain disrupted this past weekend's IndyCar double header at the Milwaukee Mile, Sunday yielded some incredible racing action and a new chapter in the history books. Conor Daly is back on Speed Street this week to fill listeners in on what he saw in Milwaukee. He joins Producer Bobby to recap both events and marvel at Pato O'Ward's weekend sweep, where he became the first driver since Rick Mears in 1981 to win two IndyCar events in a single day.

    Pato joins the show to chat about his day and the events that followed, including the long hunt for a food truck. He breaks down how the track conditions changed throughout the two races and how his car felt unstable for much of the action. Pato also looks back on the big weekend in Washington D.C. and ponders his place in the IndyCar record books.

    IndyCar's debut in Markham Ontario was WILD to say the least. We had on-track activities delayed, drivers pushing (and finding) the limits and full on physicality. Conor Daly was in Ontario to take in the action, and he joins Producer Bobby this week for a new episode of Speed Street. The guys recap the drama from the weekend and debate the polarizing hairpin turn, which had racers and spectators at odds. They also look ahead to this coming weekend in Washington D.C. and make some podium picks.

    Race winner Marcus Ericsson joins the show to chat about his team's gamble to refuel late in the race. Marcus explains he realized he had speed in the car early on and felt like he could make his way back to the front on the last stint. He also weighs in on the hairpin turn debate, stating he can see it both ways from both driver and fan perspectives.
