En nuestro episodio nº 285: Haré que lo lamentes (Subjuntivo 16), explicamos por qué no es lo mismo decir “Haré que lo lamentes” (pagarás tu error), que “Haré que lo lamento (finjo), pero no es cierto”. O tampoco lo es “Te aviso de que llego tarde” que “Te aviso de que esta vez no te perdonaré”, etc.
Por ello continuamos trabajando oraciones sustantivas con indicativo, infinitivo o subjuntivo con los verbos de deseo y de voluntad. que tienen doble significado.

In our 285th episode, I will make you regret (Subjunctive 16), we continue to work substantive sentences with indicative, infinitive or subjunctive. In this episode, with the verbs of desire and will.
We will find the same verb with two different meaning. And it will be the meaning that marks the indicative or subjunctive company in sentence 2, that is, in the subordinate.

No es lo mismo decir: “Digo que Luis viene a la cena”; que decir: “Le he dicho a Luis que no venga” (uno es información; el otro, recomendación o mandato). No es lo mismo : “Siento que tendré problemas”, que “Siento que tengas problemas” (percepción vs lamento). No es lo mismo: “Temo que venga borracho”, que “Me temo que vendrá borracho”. Y así, con muchos verbos en español. Comparte con nosotros este episodio y podrás dominar estos verbos de doble significado en español.

Stereotypes VIIIth, we address an issue that directly concerns the idiosyncrasy of Spanish people: their closeness, their warmth and familiarity in interpersonal relationships, which often entail physical contact very typical of our culture and very different in relation to other cultures of the world. We will know the situations in which this closeness occurs, what the gestures and physical interactions that are put into play and what is their significance among family members, acquaintances or friends.
