    • Last night: The White Sox blasted the Royals, 11-6, but not without those meddling monarchs making it tough.
    • Tonight: It's an all-Florida matchup, as Brady Singer and Dane Dunning square off.
    • Around baseball: Pete Alonso walks it off, Clayton Kershaw achieves a milestone, and the rest of the AL Central were a bunch of lazy layabouts.

Sox Machine Live!: Not a Fun Time in Minneapolis Sep 03, 2020
    Show notes

The Chicago White Sox stood pat on the trade deadline, trusting that the current roster can take it home. Well, after the series in Minneapolis, that might have been a mistake as the bullpen appears to be taxed as the club makes their way for a four-game series in Kansas City.
Josh and Jim recap the lack of activity at the trade deadline, the Twins series, and preview the upcoming series at Kansas City. They also remember Tom Seaver's years with the White Sox after news of his passing at the age of 75.

34: First Place White Sox Shopping at the Trade Deadline Aug 31, 2020
    Show notes

    Guest: Dan Szymborski, FanGraphs
The MLB trade market is far busier thanks to the San Diego Padres, making four deals in 32 hours. There are gaps within the pitching staff that Rick Hahn could find outside solutions for the White Sox. Should they though? Which pitchers would be the best targets and how likely are these rumored deals? Josh and Jim break down the current markets for Mike Clevinger, Lance Lynn, and Dylan Bundy.
Our Best Friend of the Show, Dan Szymborski, stops by to share his thoughts about the White Sox season after the first half.

    33: White Sox Wake Up Call: Aug. 27, 2020 Aug 27, 2020
    Show notes

Morning, White Sox fans! The rundown for this morning's episode:

    • Yesterday afternoon: the White Sox swept their two-game series against the Pirates in a 10-3 blowout. Dallas Keuchel didn't no-hit, but he didn't need to as the Sox hit 4 more homers to pace him to his fifth victory on the season.
    • Friday: the Sox are off Thursday, but will face the Royals and (likely) Danny Duffy on Friday evening.
    • Around the league: Cleveland beat Minnesota, so the Sox are just a half-game back from the division lead. The Angels and Astros were postponed on account of Hurricane Laura, while multiple teams mutually opted out of playing on account of the shooting of Jacob Blake in Wisconsin.
