South Beach Sessions with Dan Le Batard

There’s way more behind the biggest and most beloved personalities from sports, music, comedy and more… all it takes is longtime host and reporter Dan Le Batard revealing more about himself than ever before too. South Beach Sessions is the critically acclaimed flagship podcast in the Le Batard and Friends Podcast Network. These one-on-one conversations aren’t the same old, boring sitdowns – there’s no success story without some struggle, no laughs without a few tears, and no questions left unanswered by Dan who gets past what you’ve already heard and into more with Dan Le Batard.

Erin Ryan & Alyssa Mastromonaco Sep 24, 2026
    Show notes

Erin Ryan is no stranger to the comments section. She went from a miserable job at Merrill Lynch (and escaping to a Chicago animal shelter to walk dogs), to anonymously writing $100 Sunday shifts at Jezebel. From there, she made her way to managing editor at The Daily Beast and eventually the writers’ room of “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia”. If you’re wondering how the hell all that happened, she’s still trying to figure it out too. Later, former “Hysteria” co-host Alyssa Mastromonaco joins to reveal the “alchemy” behind their eight-year partnership, how their show was forged in the chaos of the Trump era, and what they’re hoping for—and genuinely afraid of—for the midterms this November. Listen, watch, and subscribe to the “Hysteria” podcast from Crooked Media with new episodes every Thursday.

    Show notes

“I’m not afraid of Donald Trump’s punk ass at all... he's a coward.”

Don Lemon pulls back the curtain on his explosive CNN exit—what happened behind the scenes, why he stopped watching the network while he was still working there, and how his husband still carries grudges for him. Lemon also opens up about being arrested at an anti-ICE protest, why he believes he was made an example of because he’s “Don Lemon” and his arrest would make news, and the emotional release that followed. Now, with his own business and The Don Lemon Show, he says he feels liberated—and more connected to his audience than ever. You can watch “The Don Lemon Show” LIVE every week day at 10AM and 5PM ET on YouTube, Instagram, Twitch, Facebook, TikTok, and listen wherever you get your podcasts. See Don live with D.L. Steve Levitan Sep 10, 2026
    Show notes

Steve Levitan knows he may never make another "Modern Family" - and he’s okay with that.

The writer, producer, director, and creator reflects on the once-in-a-lifetime magic of making 250 episodes of "Modern Family" over 11 years, why he considers himself lucky to have experienced it, and what motivates him now that the pressure to prove himself has faded. Steve also shares with Dan how he started off by writing an episode of "The Wonder Years" in 13 hours, then immediately lied to an agent about having a "Cheers" script, before years later getting so deep into Garry Shandling’s head working on "The Larry Sanders Show" that he caught himself asking his friend, “You hate me, don’t you?” Ah, show business… ain’t nothing like it.

    Cenk Uygur Sep 03, 2026
    Show notes

Cenk Uygur’s rise from immigrant kid and unhappy lawyer to the creator of The Young Turks, which he built from his living room into an independent media network is the epitome of the ‘American Dream’.

Uygur reflects on the evolution of his politics, how Donald Trump has changed things forever, the current state of the Democratic Party, and why he believes the left has lost its way. He also explains how he can openly support Bernie Sanders and Ro Khanna while still having Tucker Carlson and Marjorie Taylor Greene guest on TYT, and opens up about his nephew Hasan Piker, the controversy surrounding him, and the very personal art of disagreeing without hating each other.

    Show notes

    “It's all about the comeback.”

Lamar Odom has lived through extraordinary highs and devastating lows - and he speaks about all of it with remarkable honesty. In this deeply personal conversation, Lamar reflects with Dan Le Batard on losing his mother at 12, finding purpose through basketball, addiction, grief, faith, and surviving 12 strokes and six heart attacks. Lamar relives waking up three days after entering a bar, unable to walk or talk, and being told he might never do either again. Now, Lamar shares with Dan that he sees his story as a responsibility: to use what he survived to help someone else find their way back.

Brian Tyler Cohen Aug 20, 2026
    Show notes

Brian Tyler Cohen is a pillar of the new political sphere. He's a proud target of the Trump administration, dubbed a White House "Media Offender," and has been changing the way Americans interact with progressive politics... and, no, he's not planning on running for office.

Brian explains how he cuts his unique space in politics... picking up where mainstream media drops the ball. He and Dan explore the cost of excellence and discuss the power of being nigh-addicted to the work. He's not all business, though... with Dan, Brian opens up for the first time about his childhood, including his love of wrestling and competition. Brian also delves into the grind of his acting career-- a pre-politics dream. You can listen, watch, and subscribe to the "No Lies" podcast and read Brian's latest book, "The Day After; How to Wield Power in a Post-Trump World."

    Andrew Whitworth Aug 13, 2026
    Show notes

Andrew Whitworth knows a thing or two about surviving football.

The former NFL tackle and Thursday Night Football analyst tells Dan how Nick Saban convinced him he was a tackle, why his pregame routine consisted of sitting in his underwear playing FreeCell, and why he still loves his former teammate and “Fitz & Whit” co-host Ryan Fitzpatrick after he sprinted away from a brawl. Whitworth also gets candid about the physical toll of playing into his 40s, the sacrifices football demands from his family, and his “nobody gets me off the ground” philosophy. Plus: Frasier, Taylor and Travis, and the anatomy of an offensive lineman trying to pee. The “Fitz & Whit” podcast returns on August 20th - watch and subscribe on YouTube and stream it on Amazon Prime before the Thursday Night Football pregame show.

The Best of SBS: Miami Dolphins Head Coach Jeff Hafley Aug 06, 2026
    Show notes

"We're gonna do everything we can to make you happy."

With the 2026-2027 NFL season upon us, Jeff Hafley, the new head coach of the Miami Dolphins, knows the expectations are high for him to lead a franchise that hasn't won a playoff game in a quarter of a century. Coach Hafley traces his rise from being a kid fixated on football (he asked for a mini whiteboard for Christmas!) to his college coaching career beginning by sleeping under his desk in the stadium at the University of Pittsburgh and surviving on peanut butter to becoming an NFL head coach. Coach Hafley makes it clear to Dan Le Batard and the many broken Dolphins' fans like him: he was made for the job and is someone who promises to outwork everyone and has the history of missed weddings, strained relationships, and years of choosing the job over everything else to prove it. He also explains why he walked away from being head coach at Boston College to return to the NFL (“I didn’t like who I was becoming") and why he chose Miami over other teams.

    Steven Weber Jul 30, 2026
    Show notes

Steven Weber has made you laugh, cringe, and occasionally hate his guts for his entire career (from “Wings” to “Chicago Med”), but Dan Le Batard discovers the man behind the witty retort.

Along the way, Steven invents "Doctor El Probo," somehow turns a conversation about flushing toilets into an unexpectedly honest reflection of a son trying to understand his father, aging, imposter syndrome, and why - even after a lifetime in Hollywood - he still just wants to be liked. Stream all episodes of “Chicago Med” on Peacock and watch the season twelve premiere this Fall on NBC.

    Phil Hendrie Jul 23, 2026
    Show notes

Phil Hendrie changed radio by making listeners think they were eavesdropping on people who didn't exist. A younger Dan Le Batard was happily one of those early listeners who fell for it, and it changed the direction of his career as we know it.

The legendary pioneer and “man behind a thousand voices” shares how 17 years as a miserable disc jockey ended with one promise to finally be himself, how a fake Gulf War caller accidentally fooled America, and why the funniest people often spend years hiding who they really are. Dan also gives Phil his well deserved flowers and shares his influence on “The Dan Le Batard Show with Stugotz” is still felt to this day. They say “don’t meet your heroes”… unless your hero is Phil Hendrie. Listen to the legend at PhilHendrieShow.com
