Greetings, wonderful folks! Welcome back to Song Revolution. Today's episode is a special treat as we're joined by the incredible Phil Joel and his equally amazing wife, Heather Joel. Now, you probably know Phil as the enduring force behind the Christian rock band, Newsboys. But here's the scoop—his talents extend far beyond music.
We've got something truly unique for you in this episode, recorded live on the grounds of Joel's latest venture. Enter The Green Room, a haven of eco-friendliness and sustainable living nestled right in the heart of downtown Franklin, Tennessee.
While Phil is no stranger to rocking the stage, he's also rocking the world of home essentials. The Green Room is not your average department store; it's a testament to the couple's commitment to environmental consciousness. Phil, a fervent advocate, urges believers and all Earth-dwellers alike to cherish, protect, and preserve the divine gift of creation.
Drawing inspiration from biblical teachings, the Joels see themselves as stewards of God's creation, and that ethos is beautifully reflected in the way they live and the Green Room they've birthed.
Now, picture this: A one-stop-shop for all things home all about sustainability and comfort. From cozy linens to ambient candles, energy-efficient home appliances to soulful music records, and even delicious snacks and beverages—all with a story and an earth-friendly twist. It's a breath of fresh air for those who believe in making a positive impact with their choices.
And hey, if you happen to find yourself in the greater Nashville area, make sure to swing by the Green Room. Trust me; it's an experience you won't want to miss.
But wait, there's more! Phil spills the beans on his latest musical endeavor—a captivating album titled "A New Heaven and A New Earth," featuring his soul-stirring song, "Arms Around The World." Get ready to dive into the sounds of inspiration.
So, kick back, relax, and immerse yourself in this fantastic episode. The Song Revolution continues, and the melody of positive change is in the air. Enjoy!
