Ryan is literally somewhere in the skies traveling home from Monster Fest 2 and won't be able to broadcast live this week. BUT here is a popular rebroadcast featuring Seth Breedlove of Small Town Monsters and Shannon LeGro of Into the Fray podcast, about their series, On the Trail of UFOs: Dark Sky!
On the Trail of UFOs: Dark Sky. The film picks up where last year’s On the Trail of UFOs, left off. This time, Breedlove and LeGro head to West Virginia to look at the state’s long history of strange objects in the sky, including local UFO sightings, the famous Flatwoods Monster encounter, the terrifyingly bizarre lore of Indrid Cold and the mysteries behind the Men in Black. They also tease some of the adventures they had in the mountains and caves of West Virginia, and what comes next as they continue their relentless search for answers, on the trail of UFOs.
On the Trail of UFOs: Dark Sky is available on all streaming platforms. To learn more, visit: https://www.smalltownmonsters.com/shop

On episode 362 of SOMEWHERE IN THE SKIES, we welcome actor, director, and author, Thomas Jane. Known internationally for playing The Punisher, Micky Mantle, starring in three Stephen King film adaptations, and also in the hit Sci-Fi series, The Expanse, Jane has also made quite a name for himself in the UFO research community as of late. He recently spoke at the Contact in the Desert 2024 event and is the author of the upcoming book, A Human's Guide to Advanced Visiting Aliens. Today, Jane looks back at some of his most popular acting projects and then we dive deep into his own thoughts and theories on what aliens may want from us, how world governments can and are covering up their existence, and most importantly, Jane's thoughts on if they have actually been here all along. This and so much more!

On episode 361 of SOMEWHERE IN THE SKIES, we welcome author and historian, Greg Eghigian. Greg is a Professor of History and Bioethics at Penn State University. We discuss his recently-released book, After the Flying Saucers Came: A Global History of the UFO Phenomenon. The book tells the story of the world's fascination with UFOs and the prospect that they were the work of visitors from outer space. While accounts of great wonders in the sky date back to antiquity, reports of UFOs took place against the unique backdrop of the Cold War and space age, giving rise to disputed government inquiries, breathtaking news stories, and single-minded sleuths. The book traces how a seemingly isolated incident sparked an international drama involving shady figures, questionable evidence, suspicions of conspiracy, hoaxes, new religions, scandals, unsettling alien encounters, debunkers, celebrities, and so much more.

On episode 360 of SOMEWHERE IN THE SKIES, we head to South Dakota. During a drive home, 27-year-old Mike Foss witnessed a strange, glowing object one cold November evening. But this wasn't the end of the encounter by far. Because when he arrived home, he realized that whatever this object was, it had not only followed him home, but was now hovering directly above him. And this was only the beginning of the Foss family UFO encounters.
