The Road to WrestleMania BLEW UP in Las Vegas on Thursday with The Rock turning heel and Cody Rhodes changing his mind and challenging Roman Reigns to a match in Philadelphia (poor Seth). Solomonster has a LOT to say about where things were headed before and where they are headed now, and the brewing power struggle between The Rock and Triple H. BUT THERE'S LOTS MORE... and it does get very serious with the sickening case of former WWE Diva Ashley Massaro, what happened to her overseas and WWE's attempts to keep it quiet and new accusations of Vince McMahon preying on female talent... Rossy Ogawa GONE from the STARDOM promotion he founded, Scott D'Amore GONE from TNA Wrestling after their best month in years and what REALLY happened with both men... one major media story that could directly affect AEW... Tony Khan announces BIG BUSINE$$ for Boston and why it's important... the former WWE star arrested after his wife is found murdered... Teddy Hart's latest legal problems... Warner Brothers Discovery once again threatening to KILL John Cena's movie... and who is The Undertaker's greatest rival?

Solomonster reviews WWE Monday Night Raw for February 5th with plenty of WE WANT CODY chants and ROCKY SUCKS chants coming out of that debacle at the end of Smackdown last week, and WWE wasn't trying to hide from it. Are they considering alternate plans for Wrestlemania 40 in light of the response, or is there something else going on here?

Vince McMahon is in BIG trouble now that we've learned he's under federal investigation for sexual assault and sex trafficking, but his problems are about to go from bad to worse after the lawyer for John Laurinaitis threw him under the Lex Express this week. Solomonster talks about the new details we've learned, why those NDAs may not be worth the paper they're printed on and the laughably delusional claim that Laurinaitis is now making. CM Punk is also OUT of Wrestlemania and it's wreaking havoc on the card, but not as much as what we saw on Smackdown... one of the BIGGEST CREATIVE BLUNDERS in WWE history with The Rock, Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes. He's HEATED about this even moreso now than he was on Friday night and has a LOT to say about the situation, why it happened, why Triple H should be PARANOID right now, the one thing that makes him think there COULD BE a swerve involved and the ways they can still fix the mistake they made. PLUS... the AEW Rankings are out and are exactly what he feared they would be... Mick Foley has something TERRIBLE in mind for his 60th birthday... the big free agent that WWE or AEW should pick up, and why they may be resistant to do so... and YOUR QUESTIONS about all things Rock/Roman/Cody, why WWE has a music problem and more. This is not one to be missed!

WWE Smackdown 2/2/24 Review - THE ROCK RETURNS TO SHATTER CODY'S WRESTLEMANIA DREAMS Feb 03, 2024

Show notes

Solomonster reviews WWE Smackdown for February 2nd with one of the most frustratingly awful creative decisions this company has ever made with The Rock politicking his way into the Wrestlemania main event over Cody Rhodes for a match with Roman Reigns... Royal Rumble, be damned. You'll hear a lot of things about this being a dream match, Rock being a huge star, Cody's story can wait, Hulk Hogan's phoney fucking record and such... don't let that distract you from the fact that not only did they make Cody look like an absolute geek, but they completely buried Seth Rollins and the World Heavyweight Title six feet under. Listen and learn why.
