Solomonster reviews one of the best episodes of Monday Night Raw all year with The New Day's 10 year anniversary taking a SOUR turn, plus CM Punk and Seth Rollins coming to blows and the surprise return of a former WWE champion (actually two of them!). It was a show heavy on story and not so much on the in-ring, but there was much to like about where things appear to be headed.

We've got fallout to discuss from last night's WWE Survivor Series, with very different thoughts on the two War Games matches (and both a defense and critique of Nia Jax), the latest on Bronson Reed getting injured, Paul Heyman's favor to CM Punk and an idea for how Solo Sikoa will fall as leader of the new Bloodline. PLUS... Dave Meltzer offers an amazing take on Jade Cargill's absence... the new Women's Intercontinental title and who likely takes it first... praise for the New Day segment on Raw and why Kofi Kingston was NOT a Hall of Famer before he linked up with the group... AEW embarrassment down under as they're forced to move their big Australia show... Ricky Starks speaks to Chris Van Vliet and has no idea why he's off AEW television, how much time is left on his deal, Paul Walter Hauser's ridiculous defense of Tony Khan, Starks pulled from all future GCW shows, the comments that upset Khan and so much more on this. There's a lot to unpack here.

Solomonster reviews the Full Gear aftermath edition of AEW Dynamite for Thanksgiving Eve, with the kickoff to the Continental Classic and Kamille "quitting" before Mercedes Mone could fire her. Will that salvage her AEW run? Not likely, but it was a mercy killing that had to be done.

Sound Off 889 - Something To Get Off My Chest, FULL GEAR REVIEW And Survivor Series Predictions! Nov 24, 2024

Show notes

After the worst go home show I've ever seen for an AEW PPV, I got an earful from some folks and I've got something to get off my chest to start. Then it's on to the AEW Full Gear 2024 review, with a closing angle that a lot of people didn't understand but made perfect sense to me, all the things that did NOT work on the show and thoughts on THE COSTCO GUYS on the pre-show... why Kenny Omega's comments last week may be part of something bigger... AEW running the Hammerstein Ballroom and the GCW owner is not happy about it... what Logan Paul could be doing at Wrestlemania... a tremendous twist to The Bloodline story heading into War Games and where it may be leading... Jade Cargill injured and who will take her place... is it more of a DEPTH ISSUE or CREATIVE ISSUE with the WWE tag team divisions... Survivor Series 2024 PREDICTIONS... the most improved performers in five years of AEW... ranking Brock Lesnar's best singles matches at Survivor Series... th best and worst years of the original ECW... and the worst reign of terror, Triple H or Roman Reigns?

Solomonster reviews WWE Smackdown for November 22nd with the return of the Wise Man, and he brings with him the fifth man for the OG Bloodline in War Games... CM PUNK! Lots to discuss here and lots of directions for this to go. Plus, an excellent segment with Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens, and Jade Cargill takes a spill to her demise, but whodunit?

Reviewing the final AEW Dynamite before Full Gear and it's not good. Full Gear should be, but this show certainly wasn't. In fact, I can't remember a go-home show as lifeless and boring as this one.
