Show notes

This week, in Clarkston, Georgia, fear quickly spreads when a woman is found, strangled, and floating, in her own bathtub. The fear only gets worse when it happens to another woman... Then another one. It's a mystery, but the one thing that is known for sure, is that a serial killer is on the loose. A suspect finally emerges, after a police sketch is made, but he's not admitting anything, except one particularly embarrassing detail, that he says proves his innocence!

Along the way, we find out that this small town probably has some pretty good food, that bath water gets cold, faster than we thought, and that you can't possibly be a rapist/murderer, if you only have sex with your sister!

This week, in Malvern, Arkansas, a young woman leaves her home to go see her boyfriend, for a little while, but she never shows up. The only trace of her is her car, which is left on the side of the road, locked. This causes incredible panic, and a widespread search, that eventually finds a body. The crime is a true mystery, until investigators get a huge break, and find an absolute monster, with a history of unspeakable crimes, and somehow, it just continues to get stranger from there!

Along the way, we find out that they don't make many bricks, anymore, that criminals tend to eventually learn not to leave witnesses, and that it's suspicious to walk into a store, with your overalls covered in blood!!

This week, in Hillsdale, New York, a most brutal, smoldering murder is a mystery, at first, but quickly focuses on one suspect, who turns out to have one of the wildest tales that we've ever heard. Was he a person, with a simple motive for murder, or was he a deranged man, on a mission from God, who believes that he is simultaneously King Arthur, Jesus, Robin Hood, Merlin The Wizard, a ninja, and The Bear King? That's the question, but either way, this was a truly awful & vicious murder!!

Along the way, we find out that Slambodovia isn't a real country, that Merlin apparently had a forehead tattoo, and that when you're on a mission from God, you don't need an attorney!

This week, in Bristol, Florida, when a woman's bound body is found, with a concrete block tied to her ankle, in a secluded creek, in a half sunken rowboat, investigators had no idea what kind of a mess they were about to attempt to untangle. An array of grievances left a man to wanting to kill a particular woman. And that woman, wanting to kill that man. And another woman, also wanting to kill that woman, and maybe that man, too. And any these people may not have even done the deed. It's a truly crazy tale of love, hate, murder, and fishing bait!!

Along the way, we find out that Florida people treat gators like, at most, a minor problem, that some young women are apparently attracted to nightcrawlers, and that the more people you ask to commit a murder for you, the more people that will tell on you!!

Finally, an unlikely source comes forward with information that takes everyone by surprise, and shifts the focus somewhere completely different. To someone calling themselves "Night Stalker"!

Along the way, we find out that everything is fertile in Iowa, that no one has ever fallen on on to a serving fork & impaled themselves, and that some books not only shouldn't be judged by their covers, but maybe not the first 50 pages, either!

It turns out even worse than the plan, but the big problem is that this definitely not the first time. A history of sordid attempts to take creepy pictures, and maybe make some snuff films, blows this whole thing wide open, and even more disturbing information is unearthed!

Along the way, we find out that you better not turn your porch light on in this town, that you shouldn't take a creepy person's offer to take nude pictures of you, and that you can't be your own alibi!!

This maze eventually gets sorted out in such a strange way, that it definitely needs to be heard to be believed!

Along the way, we find out that people here lift weights in the street, that it's hard to destroy half of a person's skull by accident, and that justice is sometimes quite muddy!!
