    Guest: Co-Host Detective Dave.
    Dave began his career in law enforcement in 2007. Before his recent promotion to Sergeant, he spent six years as a detective primarily investigating Sex Crimes and Child Abuse for his police department in Small Town, USA. He still serves as a Crisis and Hostage Negotiator, and during his tenure as a detective, he served on the advisory boards of multiple children’s and victims’ advocacy groups.

    Special Guest: Captain TerriCaptain Terri has been in law enforcement for 23 years. Over the course of her career, she has been a dispatcher, a corrections officer, a patrol deputy, and a detective sergeant before being promoted Captain in 2014. One of her focuses as a law enforcement agent has been helping victims maneuver through the criminal justice system. She has a master's degree in criminal justice.

    When Detective David started out in law enforcement in 2002, his agency was so small they doubled as both police officers and firefighters, carrying their dual-purpose gear in the trunk of their patrol cars. After three years of doing double duty, David was promoted to detective. He has also served as a Patrol Sergeant and was elected Under Sherriff of his county in 2011. In 2013, David transferred back to detectives and finished out his career as an investigator for the District Attorney’s Office, until he retired in 2018.

    We sit down with world-renowned forensic scientist and cold-case investigator, Paul Holes, to hear about one of his first cold cases, as well as the profiling techniques he developed over the years to catch the serial sexual predators he hunted.Special Guest: Paul Holes: Paul Holes spent the majority of his 27-year career investigating cold cases and serial-predator crimes in the Bay Area of California. Just before he retired in April 2018, Paul lead the team that broke the Golden State Killer case, which brought him worldwide acclaim. Other notable cases he’s worked on include The Zodiac, Laci Peterson, Jaycee Dugard, Darryl Kemp, Joseph Naso, and Joseph Cordova Jr. Paul recently released an audiobook titled “Evil Has a Name” which is available on Audible. You can also hear him on the true-crime podcast, "The Murder Squad.” which he co-hosts with investigative journalist Billy Jensen.
