We talked about the importance of communication and future plans of visiting NYC with his daughter and how their relationship has strengthened. Enjoying each other's company with longer conversations than before, they are both looking forward to their upcoming trip to the USA.

William Dubree, Ph. D. Speaks Out On The Failings Of The Family Court And Learning Theory May 10, 2022

Slam the Gavel welcomes William Dubree, Ph.D. on to the show. Dr. Dubree is a Project Developer, Learning Theory Applications to Human Behavior, Visionary and teacher.
Dr. Dubree saw the importance of blending the fields of economics, behavioral psychology, healthcare and other sciences in developing a critical understanding and definition of the productive and well adaptive human operating in a complex social environment.
Dr. Dubree has spent a 50 year career working in experimental psychology with special focus on the Learning Theory applications to behavior. His work in Quality of Life resulted in an expansion of the understandings in Learning Theory, especially the constructions of theoretical evolutionary models that explained the roots of the unaffected motivational drive systems in human behavior. His career has concentrated on large scale planning of Quality of Life projects and extensive research.
As an experimental psychologist, Dr. Dubree specialized in the observation and measurement of behavior. Learning Theory spawned behavior solutions that worked in addressing even pathological behavior such as parental child abuse.
Over the last 4 years, Dr. Dubree shifted his work to address the global epidemic of families destroyed by abusive parents where the insouciance of the Family Courts has become an ENABLER. Using his experimental background, he has crafted solutions to the victims of Parental Alienation through the lens of directive behavioral strategies, which recognize the pathology quickly and implement procedures that are both intuitively reasoned and we now know are effective modifiers that remove the victims from the experience field that caused and maintained the aberrant alienation influenced behaviors.

Ben Tomes, Author, MMA Coach Discusses WhenCelebrity Stories Translate Into REAL LIFE And Borders And Boundaries May 06, 2022

Slam the Gavel welcomes Ben Tomes to the show. He is an award-winning wrestling and mixed martial arts coach as well as an author of the Confessions of the Unmedicated Mind series and an alienated parent.
At age 49, he recently made the 2nd oldest debut MMA fight ever as part of an upcoming book and documentary about parental alienation entitled Proxy War. Ben discussed his time in Family Court along with a Guardian Ad Litem who did not function appropriately in her job capacity. The Family Court battle is decided before it get started.
Ben explained how the alienation began not only in the beginning but throughout his children's lives, even before his daughter was born and the groundwork was laid long before he and his future wife had married.
Consistent patterns continued even after his marriage. It seems that Empaths find themselves to be intercepted by Narcissists and other Personality Disorders. There is hidden trauma in families who then cover it up while it perpetuates into Parental Alienation and this evolves, manifesting itself as a child grows up into adulthood.
Ben discussed a case that was very similar to his involving the same Guardian Ad Litem. More to come.
The divorce/family court industry works with the same incestuous spinning wheel with no justice in sight as the rabbit holes reach deep. Parents find themselves railroaded as their case ends up hijacked by money-hungry attorneys, GAL's and caseworkers.

Mark Sowersby, Pastor And Book Author Speaks Out On Forgiveness May 02, 2022

Slam the Gavel welcomes Reverend Mark Sowersby. He is a Pastor, Author, Husband and father. Pastor Sowersby has been married to his wonderful wife Jennifer for 18 years and is the father of four children. Mark has been an ordained minister with Assembly of God for over 25 years and is currently the Pastor of Calvary Community Church in Dudley, MA. Pastor Mark holds a BA in theology from Zion Bible College/Northpoint Bible College.
In 2019 Pastor Mark went through a time of great healing. He began speaking about the experiences of his past and God’s grace and the transformational work of forgiveness in his life. He now speaks about his story through his ministry through his book, Forgiving The Nightmare. His book has been recently endorsed by Mark Batterson, author of The Circle Maker.
Excellent discussion on forgiveness and how in forgiveness there is justice and peace.
When he isn’t serving his congregation and his community through ministry, teaching, and support, you can find him on all the trails and lakes in State of Maine New Hampshire and Upstate New York, spending time with his family.

Slam the Gavel welcomes Founder and Executive Director for Americans for Equal Shared Parenting, Mark Ludwig. Mark has a 35 year background in the political arena in Missouri as a candidate, campaign manager and advisor.
Mark has also gained national notoriety as a candidate for United States Congress and has served on the board of directors for numerous businesses, Chamber and Civic organizations in the St. Louis area.
Directly working on Shared Parenting legislation in 29 different states, Mark has also personally met with over 580 legislators across the country regarding Shared Parenting issues.
Being interviewed over 230 times to help raise awareness on different TV radio and podcast interviews regarding Shared Parenting, Mark himself has concerns about Parental Alienation. Mark has hosted the first ever Equal Shared Parenting conference in Washington DC which brought together leaders from over 60 different Shared Parenting organizations

Dr. Susan Ilkov-Moor, Geriatric Psychiatrist Discusses Family Dynamics, Her Experience With Parental Alienation And Why The Courts Are Failing Apr 14, 2022

Slam the Gavel welcomes Dr. Susan Ilk-Moor to the show. She is a Geriatric Psychiatrist and also an alienated mother living in Kingston (Napanee) Canada. Dr. Susan Ilkov-Moor graduated from medical school from Queens University and has been in practice since 2006. She is seen here in a picture with a yoga-instructor who recently passed at the age of 101 and had practiced 93 years of her life practicing yoga.
Primarily working with dementia she is also working with patients with Psychotic Depression. She has seen families witness a death of the soul when their loved one begins an early onset of dementia. Early onset is at the age of 60, which is rare and the youngest case of dementia was the age of 29.
Dr. Susan looks at the patient's childhood trauma, PTSD and how they re-experience this as they go through cognitive impairment as well as family dynamics. Dr. Susan explained that patient's could only see their loved ones through the glass at the nursing home when the pandemic began and what the patients really need is hugs, the feeling of love.
Parental Alienation has touched her own life as well as the legal system and its failure. Family Court perpetuates the Mental Health industry, the Prison industry and the Self Help industry, a "cash cow Family Court Circus." We discussed how the trauma of alienation and PTSD and how this affects the hippocampus in the brain. Excellent discussion with Dr. Ilkov-Moor.

Dr. Jennifer Jill Harmon, PhD., Discusses Parental Alienation In And Out Of The Courtroom Apr 13, 2022

Slam the Gavel welcomes Dr. Jennifer Jill Harmon, PhD. to the show. Dr. Harmon is the author of, "Parents Acting Badly," which does an excellent job of identifying the dynamics of alienation.
Identifying with many of the same issues as Dr. C. Childress, Dr. Jennifer Harmon also goes into great detail about some of the larger issues that cause and perpetuate alienation to begin with. She shows not only how we as individuals are affected, but the importance of addressing alienation on a larger level.
Dr. Harmon has conducted and continues to conduct research into this subject to garner a greater legitimacy in the psychological community around this subject. She is currently looking to further substantiate the idea that alienation is another form of aggression and that it has the same roots as any other form of abuse.
Jennifer Jill Harman, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor of Psychology at Colorado State University in the Applied Social & Health Psychology program.
She received her doctorate in Social Psychology from the University of Connecticut in 2005, and specializes in the study of intimate relationships. She also has two masters degrees from Teacher's College, Columbia University in psychological counseling, and served as a family and substance abuse counselor for several years prior to her entry into academia. She is currently an associate professor of psychology at Colorado State University.

Dean Tong, MSc., Forensic Trial Expert Speaks Out On National Child Abuse Awareness Month Apr 11, 2022

Slam the Gavel welcomes back Dean Tong, MSc., to the show for National Child Abuse Awareness Month. He was last on the show on Season 2, Episode 32. Dean Tong, MSc. is a Forensic Trial Expert, author, public speaker and consultant in the field of false child abuse allegations. He is the author of three books: "Elusive Innocence: Survival Guide for the Falsely Accused," "Ashes to Ashes Families to Dust: False Accusations of Child Abuse: Roadmap for Survivors," and "Don't Blame Me Daddy: False Accusations of Child Sexual Abuse."
There are two sides to the coin. Reality is 5% of all allegations are false, 70% are unfounded or unsubstantiated, those that did not meet a preponderance of evidence, 51% in court when a judge thinks more so than not that the abuse happened. The judge can rule on credibility of witnesses, including children only the judge can rule on what's called the ultimate issue of fact or bar which is rule 704 of whether abuse happened or not and that is for the judge and jury if criminal case to decide. However, 25% are confirmed substantiated cases. In law in all 50 states in CPS court, the rule of law, the burden of proof is the preponderance of evidence, prima facia evidence. All judges on the bench use "discretion." This is not about the parent's best interest, its about the child's best interest.
Dean Tong has testified as an expert witness in 15 states and consulting as an expert for Attorneys in court cases from all 50 states. He has been retained by attorneys and parents in over 1,000 high-conflict cost cases over the past 25 years and has appeared on more than 2,000 radio talk shows during the same timeframe discussing the pervasive and unpopular subject of false allegations of abuse. His consultancy is concentrated in the fields of divorce, child custody, abuse accusations, sexual or physical child abuse, domestic violence, parental
alienation and sexual allegations in divorce.
Dean Tong also explains Psychological Risk assessment testing, MMPI, CAPI and what that entails as well as Able Screen Test. Very informative discussion with Dean Tong.

Hope Wagner, Grandmother, Speaks Out On The System: Til Death Do Us Part Apr 10, 2022

Slam the Gavel welcomes Hope Wagner to the show. She is a Grandmother to three granddaughters. Her own daughter was murdered by the children's father. However, she has been ordered to not see her own grandchildren, but the father that has committed the murder has access to see his daughters.
As the children were questioned by the detectives, three factors existed: Prior to her daughter's murder, the father had used and groomed his daughter's on the murder of their mother that would take place, he also directed the children as to what would happen and to clean up and cover up the murder, what to say to the police and how to say it thus helping him in the process under his direction. The children stated they witnessed the brutal murder of their own mother. Watching their mother cling to life while fighting to her death is haplessly ignored, however the system is helping the children by showing them Sesame Street and teaching them how to have a relationship with an incarcerated parent, yet won't allow them to see their grandparents.
For the past 24 months the children have had a forced relationship with the convicted murderer. CPS and non-profits are working together to develop a care plan for the family and children focused on reunification with the parent incarcerated. Hope has been taken out of their lives for the last 24 months.
Reaching out to attorneys who are reluctant to challenge they system, Hope has found that there are no outlets, no one to turn to. The system threw Hope and her husband into the family court arena where they want to revoke his parental rights. Hope refuses to participate in this as the system which has made it very difficult to talk to anybody.
Hope encourages people to refuse to participate in the very schemes of the system that gives it oxygen to thrive, know your rights and stand your ground. Demand the upholding of the Constitution and to step out of the emotional box. We have to change this, Hope says, as the system thrives on dysfunction that supports its coercive persuasion and enriches itself on the the despair of others.
EXSPOSE THE CORRUPTION! REVOKE HIS RIGHTS! DEMAND THE GOVERNMENT AWAY FROM MY FAMILY!

Jennifer Szeghi, M.A., Parent-Child Coach And Parent Coordinator Discusses Strategies To Raise Healthy Children In Their New Normal Apr 08, 2022

Slam the Gavel welcomes Jennifer Szeghi, M.A. to the show. She is a parent-child coach and parent coordinator, who specializes working with high conflict families.
Her journey started two decades ago working with families in the mental health field in various settings, such as the psychiatric unit, juvenile detention, and outpatient settings.
Jennifer's education consists of a Master of Arts in Forensic Psychology, a Graduate Certificate in Children & Adolescent Psychology, and a plethora of trainings in working with high conflict families and parental alienation.
Spending fifteen years of her career teaching psychology courses to college students, which included child and adolescent development, Jennifer used these professional interactions and recognized a need to help families who go through a divorce and developed programs in her Successful Parenting business to address these issues.
Her Co-parent Coaching Program focuses on families developing the skills necessary to put up boundaries, have positive communication, and strategies to raise healthy children in their new normal.
The program Rescue the Parent-Child Bond works with target parents and sometimes the whole family, to implement strategies to repair the parent-child bond and inoculate the child from future alienation.
Also, Jennifer’s podcast, The Alienator’s Chess Game, discusses these strategies for parents to be able to be proactive and empower them in this situation. Recently she also launched The Checkmate Project, where target parents meet and are paired to work together on different obstacles target parents are facing and create long-term change in our society.
