In other news of the day, DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin criticizes New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani as a 'socialist communist' and vows to enforce immigration laws in sanctuary cities, protecting the homeland, New York Gov. Kathy Hochul met with community activists and immigrant groups yesterday to assure them she has their back amid threats from President Trump's border czar about sending in more U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents as the World Cup kicks off, and the President announced yesterday that he’s nominating Jay Clayton - the U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York - for the role of director of national intelligence. The Knicks stormed back in the second half in the biggest comeback in NBA Finals history to steal Game 4 at Madison Square Garden with a 107-106 win and take a 3-1 series lead over the San Antonio Spurs. In other news of the day, Madison Square Garden canceled a planned Knicks watch party outside the arena hours before Game 4 as owner James Dolan unloaded on Mayor Zohran Mamdani as a fake fan of the team - making the shocking announcement ahead of the Knicks’ showdown with the San Antonio Spurs after MSG blasted city government for its decision to set up a security zone around the venue for the event, the biggest World Cup tournament in history has arrived in North America and soccer fans across the globe are buzzing with excitement for the opening matches and star-studded ceremonies today and tomorrow, and President Donald Trump this morning escalated his threats against Iran - announcing that the U.S. intends to strike the country tonight and take control of Kharg Island - a strip of land home to Iran’s most important oil facility.
