    Leadership with PGA DIrector of Championships Catherine Clifton Aug 03, 2021

    If you've ever wondered what goes into planning major events, particularly sporting events, this episode is a peek inside what it takes to pull off an enormous, televised sporting event. In this episode, we sat down with Catherine Clifton, the youngest director of PGA Championships for the KPMG Women's PGA Event this past June. We talk about what it is like to work in a male-dominated field as a female, especially so early in her career. We also learn about the perspective Catherine has towards success, having a successful team behind her, and how she handles the inevitable setbacks and failures that come with major event planning. Catherine is wise beyond her years and shares how she has developed strong leadership through practices like self-awareness and meditation.

    From Tragedy to Advocacy: Disability Empowerment with Tiffany Yu Jul 27, 2021

    Tiffany Yu is on a mission to change the conversation about disabilities, and she's succeeding. We talk with Tiffany about how she learned to own her disability, which came about when she was 9 and was in a car accident that also claimed the life of her father. Tiffany shares how an experience during an internship helped her see that she wasn't working at her potential and led her to stop 'sitting on the sidelines of life.' She went on to found Diversability, a community-driven organization seeking to rebrand the concept of disability and to facilitate conversations between disabled and non-disabled people. Tiffany shares her hopes, plans, and perspective on disability representation and how she plans to continue to make changes for equality & inclusion.
