Navani's Past & Even More Words of Brandon! [April Fool's Episode] Apr 01, 2023

Show notes

On today's episode, we are finally finishing up WoBs, except for the Tress stream from yesterday. We talk about Navani's past, Jasnah and Hoid, storms blowing leeward, intense ship names discussion (I didn't expect this today!), and cosmere hell. This episode we have Eric (Chaos), Evgeni (Argent), Marvin (Paleo), and Kadie (Aon Ene)! Honorblades Self-Aware!? Dragonsteel 2022 Words of Brandon 2 Mar 12, 2023

Show notes

It's time for more Words of Brandon from Dragonsteel, and we start on December's spoiler stream! This one is even more unhinged and philosophical than the last one. We talk about brontosauruses (brontosauri?), bugs, bones, piles of cash, and of course, what is a soul, anyway? This episode we have Eric (Chaos), Evgeni (Argent), Marvin (Paleo), and Kadie (Aon Ene)! Please note we will not be having an episode two weeks from now on March 26th, because Eric is getting married. We will have more WoBs April 1st or 2nd. 00:00 Intro 7:06 Dragonsteel WoBs 1:23:56 Youtube Spoiler Stream wobs 1:53:21 Stormlight 5 Prologue Spoilers 2:07:39 Who's That Cosmere Character If you like our content, support us on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/17thshard For discussion, theories, games, and news, come to https://www.17thshard.com Come talk with us and the community on the 17th Shard Discord: https://discord.gg/17thshard Want to learn more about the cosmere and more? White Sand Omnibus: New Content & Lore! Feb 12, 2023

Show notes

The White Sand Omnibus is here, and so it's time for another episode of Shardcast where we go into extensive detail on things. There's character stuff, lore stuff, talking about the Indiegogo failure, as well as astrophysics and complex cosmere stuff. Oh, and infesting sand! This is a very weird and extremely nerdy episode, even for us. We have Eric (Chaos), David (Windrunner), Evgeni (Argent), and Joshua (jofwu)! Aethers Jan 29, 2023

Show notes

It's time we talk about aethers, the last big cosmere magic system! Or is this actually an MCU podcast? A Pinnochio podcast? Maybe it's an ecology and physics podcast. Surprise, it's red spikes all the way down. This episode is both very on the rails and also totally not. Spoilers for Lost Metal and Tress of the Emerald Sea. This episode we have Eric (Chaos), David (Windrunner on the forums), Evgeni (Argent), Ala (Rasarr), and Veronica (Cheyenne Sedai)!
