Mailbag!! Ranking the most tradable players, what 8-players we'd protect in an Expansion Draft + what would you trade to secure Jaden Ivey? Mar 18, 2022

Show notes

Alex Golden is joined by Derek Kramer of iPacers Blog and Rhett Bauer of 8 points, 9 seconds to answer your mailbag questions!

After watching Keegan Murray the past few days in the Big Ten Touney, I would not be mad if he was our pick. What are your guys’ thoughts on Keegan and the fit for him on our team? (Jordan S - Twitter)
What is the worst trade package you would take for Myles Turner, right now? Do you let him play again this season to try and recoup some value? (Zach Barnett)
Pick one player from each power five conference that you would draft. (Sam Culbertson)
If the Pacers get the #1 pick, and draft Chet Holmgren, do you think that guarantees Turner will be traded? (Aaron M)
Imagine we draft Ivey and next year get to watch Hali throw alleys to both Jaden and IJax. Yay or nay: We call the young group “Afterschool Special” instead of the “new lob city” (Reggie’s finger sleeve)
More likely to become the face of the franchise? Haliburton or potential Top 5 pick? (Chris Weech)
Rank 3 things (players, picks, etc) that you would NOT give up to move into the top 3-4 in this draft…. EXCLUDING Haliburton, the obvious choice. (Chuck & Jamie)
Pritchard has to hear the cry for ivey himself to stay here in indiana. What would you give up to get himmmm??? (Ricky Kelly)
Do you see Oshae as a long term starter in the league? I see him more as a rotational player, but would like to hear your thoughts. Also who do you see as good fits to trade Goga to this offseason? (Elliot Beaver)
What's your perspective on Buddy? Do you want him here next year and do you think he will be? (Jeff Dunham)
Regarding the rumors of the addition of two possible expansion team in the next couple years (most likely Las Vegas and the return of Seattle); If two expansion teams were added this offseason and you had a protection limit of 8 players for the expansion draft, Who would you protect and why? (Ben Cook)
MOCK TRADE IDEA: IND gets Bazley & a 2022 1st via LAL, NOP gets Brogdon, NYK gets Nance, Graham & 2022 1st via PHX, OKC gets Randle...THOUGHTS!? (Tyler Thompson)
Rank Brogdon, Hield and Turner in terms of trade value? Pick two teams you think will try to acquire these guys in the offseason. (festar 35)
Why has Terry Taylor's role been up and down recently? (walter)
