#73 If This Was A Movie Jan 10, 2024

Show notes

Staying in theme with films and what we talked about in our episode about the 1, we decided to talk about If This Was A Movie. If life was a movie – a romantic one – things would be different and easier… but it isn’t. If this was a movie, he would've been the one. Life isn’t a movie, though, or maybe it’s a dramatic movie, who can tell. It’s just more complicated than that.

#72 the 1 Jan 03, 2024

Show notes

Happy New Year! We tried to resist the temptation to start the new year with the 1, but it was an iconic thing to do and so here we are. This song is about that person that exited your life, but sometimes you can’t help it but wonder what would’ve happened if they had stayed.

#70 folklore & evermore: The Sister Albums pt. II Dec 20, 2023

Show notes

In part 2, we compared tracks 8 through 17! What do this is me trying and coney island have in common? And what about illicit affairs and ivy? We talked about the albums closers and why they perfectly wrap up their respective albums. In the end we even shared our top5 from both folklore and evermore (but not in order because we weren't emotionally ready to do that). Support us on Ko-Fi! #66 All You Had To Do Was Stay Nov 22, 2023

Show notes

After discussing the meanings behind the track 5s in Taylor's discography in last week's episode, we decided to break down the track 5 from her 5th album! P.S. At the beginning of this episode we stated that we were confused by the songwriting credits of this song because there was contrasting information. We checked the 1989TV booklet and so we can now confirm that this song was written by Taylor Swift and Max Martin. Support us on Ko-Fi!
