You have been with us since the down and dirty days of the pandemic. You were there when I first learned the alphabet and when Marc’s dementia kicked in and he started confusing “issues and episodes’ together.
You were there during our one and only X-Men fantasy draft where an entire scoreboard was cleared because we apparently didn’t know the legal definition of mutants.
You’ve been with us through character deaths and resurrections, retcons and reboots, ultimate universes and infinite earths.
Hell, we even got to see Zach Snyder’s Justice League in full glory the way the good lord intended it.
I know what you’re thinking, ‘Remso, this sounds like you’re saying goodbye…”
No.
Much like all our favorite series, one era ends so another can begin. In our case, we’re not going to end and come back with an episode one.
Instead, we're going to be like Valiant Entertainment, and just go on a long break.
Unlike Valiant Entertainment though, we won’t be gone too long. We’ll be pausing Second Print Comics for the remainder of the year, which is really just a few months, and will announce our return date to our regular scheduled programming in 2023.
Marc and I have loved getting to give you all a look into our personal lives. Through pandemics and job losses, deaths and marriages, epic highs and deep lows, Me moving to an igloo in Wisconsin and Marc moving to hurricane heaven Florida, you’ve become an extended part of our fandom family.
You all make doing this show so much fun, and I hope we’ve brought as much joy into your lives as you’ve brought into ours.
However, some stuff has been going on behind the scenes in both our lives. Marc and I have been pulled to deal with some pretty scary things in our individual lives and finding time to get together to make content hasn’t been easy.
We always want to deliver you all the highest quality content, and the truth is right now we can’t deliver that until we both have the space to sort out things that are important to ourselves and our families.
There are no issues between Marc and I, throughout all the crazy shit going on, he has remained my steadfast friend, and I hope he’d say the same about me.
Sometimes life throws you curveballs, and right now Marc and I need to settle our individual quests before we can team up to deliver you epic crossover-worthy plots, news, and stories.
Marc and I want nothing more than to get behind our mics and talk comics with you all, but in order to do that, we first have to slay some dragons.
While we won’t be putting shows out on the regular feed for a few months, we’re each going to find the time to catch up with our Patreon exclusive series such as Remso vs the DCEU and Marc’s Case of the Runs.
We’ll try and schedule our monthly Journey into Mystery calls and continue to send out books. If you’re a patron and feel it’d be better to pause your patronage, we totally get it.
If you’re a current patron, you’ll be happy to continue getting regular content from Marc, myself, and our cast of friends.
