Beverly AllittShe’s known as the “Angel of Death.” And Beverly Allitt earned that nickname after murdering 4 young children and injuring several others in a baffling crime spree driven by her attention-seeking compulsion. The Lincolnshire, England nurse repeatedly failed her nursing exams but caught a break when she was given a temporary job in the Childrens Ward 4 of Grantham and Kesteven Hospital in 1991. Being chronically understaffed, the hospital needed all the help they could get. 4. Daniela PoggialiDaniella Poggiali found her patients “annoying” according to police, this was the only reason she killed them. The 45-year old nurse from Lugo in Northern Italy was arrested in October of 2014 when a 78-year old woman named Rosa Calderoni, mysteriously died under her care. Prior to that, authorities had suspected Daniela’s involvement in other deaths. They had noticed that in March 2014, there were five unexplained patient deaths in a span of a single week. All of them died during the night when Daniela was the only one working in her ward.3. Charles CullenDescribed as the most prolific nurse killer in recent history, Charles Cullen, killed because he didn’t want to see them suffer and wanted to help them. At least in his own twisted mind that’s what he believed. Born in West Orange, New Jersey, Cullen is the youngest of 8 children. By the time he was 9 years old, he attempted his first suicide by drinking chemicals from a chemistry set. This would be the first out of 20+ suicide attempts. Cullen later dropped out of high school after his mother died in a car accident. He joined the US Navy, serving aboard submarine USS Woodrow Wilson, before being transferred to USS Canopus because he was showing signs of mental instability. 2. Stephan LetterAt the same time American killer nurse, Charles Cullen was killing patients, German nurse Stephan Letter was also doing the same. From January of 2003 to July 2004, the nurse killed more than 29 people while working at a hospital in Sonthofen, Bavaria. 1. Arnfinn NessetOne look at Arnfinn Nesset and you wouldn’t think he was a killer. He was a balding man with thick spectacles hanging over his face. Mild-mannered and polite, he had over 20-years of nursing experience under his belt. But in 1977, when he took over as the director of the Orkdale Valley Nursing Home, in Orkdale, Norway, patients began dying at an alarming rate.Support the show

Bonnie HaimFor 26 years, nobody knew where she went. Bonnie Haim was said to have taken her car and purse before driving away from here Jacksonville, Florida home on January 6, 1993. 3. 82-year-old Handyman Arrested At 82-years old, Ray Vannieuwenhoven, known as “Old Ray” in his neighborhood of Lakewood, Wisconsin, was nothing but an elderly, gentle and kind handyman. He was the type of neighbor who would always wave at you when he was passing by and no one thought anything about him was strange or “off”. 2. Billy ChemirmirDescribing himself as a “home health care nurse,” 45-year old, Kenyan immigrant, Billy Chemirmir, came to America in 2003 and settled in Dallas, Texas. 1. Chicago’s 51It started in 2001. Most of the bodies found were those of young black women, discovered in alleyways, garbage containers, weed-infested vacant lots or abandoned buildings. Most had torn clothing and showed signs of sexual abuse. Police believe many of the women were drug addicts or prostitutes and almost all of them had been strangled to death.Support the show

Get ready for scary mysteries Twisted Two's.#1 Sophia Toscan du Plantier Sophia Toscan du Plantier was a French Film producer born in Paris France in 1957. After marrying a fellow French film mogul, Daniel Toscan du Plantier, they bought a home in the town of Drinane in Schull, Ireland. This isolated house would serve as a retreat for the couple whenever they wanted to escape the hustle and bustle of Paris. On December 20, 1996, Sophia arrived at the Cork Airport in Ireland and drove to her home in Schull. For the weekend, she visited friends and dropped by some of her favorite haunts. Afterwards, she decided to return to Paris on Christmas eve, phoning her husband the night before her departure at 11:00 PM, saying she would see him the next day. However, the next day at 10:00 AM, Sophia’s bludgeoned body would be found by her neighbor, Shirley Foster, in the laneway leading to her home. #2 Susan SmithOn October 25, 1994, Susan Smith contacted police and told them she had been carjacked by a black man while stopped at an intersection. She pleaded with police for help because her two sons, 3-year old, Michael and 14-month old, Alex, were still inside the car when the man had driven away with the vehicle. For the next nine days, Susan went on various national television programs, pleading and asking for her boys’ safe return. A huge investigation followed along with a nationwide search. But police always had their suspicions from the start.Support the show

Devils Tramping GroundOver 120 years before America gained its independence, locals have whispered that inside the pine woods of Chatham County in N. Carolina lies a 15-foot wide circle where no life has ever grown. They call it the Devil’s Tramping Ground. Year after year, no plant life grows within the circle. Despite being surrounded by forests and trees, no plant life ever grows within this circle. No trees, no flowers,no anything and Locals say even when plants are transplanted within, they just wilt and die. 4. Man Finds Missing Person’s ShrineJames Rankin was on a leisurely hike in October of 2016 exploring Huntington’s Berkeley Jackson County Park in New York when he came across a terrifying site. He was walking along when something posted on the trees caught his attention. He took a closer look and to his surprise, they were pieces of printed paper placed inside a plastic file sleeve. Theyhad been posted on individual trees around a portion of the forest. Rankin looked closely at each one and realized they were missing posters. 3. Pine BarrensPine Barrens, New Jersey is dubbed as one of the most haunted forests in North America. Why? There’s a couple of reasons. First, it’s home to the terrifying Jersey Devil. Second, there are supposedly multiple ghosts seen in the area. Third, it’s a place where real life abandoned ghost towns are found. For centuries, countless urban legends have surrounded this mysterious forest. Over time, the stories change but the central characters remain. 2. The Black ForestSitting alongside the Rhine River, you’ll find a deep, dark forest with such a thick canopy of tall trees hardly any sunlight penetrates through. This area in Germany is known appropriatly as the Black Forest. For many, the Black Forest has become synonymous with evil forests you would find mentioned in haunting fairytales. In fact, we have the Brothers Grimm to thank for that imagery since many of their stories set in deep, dark forests take inspiration from this location. 1. Interstate 85For many, the trees lining one of America’s busiest interstates is just like anywhere else. But what they don’t know is that Interstate 85 in Atlanta, Georgia is a hidden dumping ground for bodies. The entire 200–mile stretch of the Interstate starting at the Georgia corridor down to the tip of South Carolina has become a dumping place of murdered and missing people.Support the show

Her father was a tenacious and proud businessman who bought a dying furnace business in Blair, partnering with his cousin, Ronald Diller. While some can be logically explained, others are simply baffeling and will leave you wondering if there really is intelligent life out there visiting us. Hhere are 4 EXTREMELY Strange But True UFO Encounters 4. Cape Girardeau UFO CrashOn July 1941, Reverend William Huffman of Cape Girardeau, Missouri was asked by local police to pray over victims from a crash site just outside of town. It was 9: 30 PM and the site was a 10 – 15-mile trip to the outskirts. Once he got there, the place was surrounded by police, the fire department, photographers, FBI agents - and others. The reverand was led through the scene and As he walked, he noticed the crash site had lots of debris, as if the craft had actually exploded. Pieces were strewn everywhere and most of the police were collecting them. In one corner was a larger piece he described as being disc-shaped with no visible seams and it was shiny and metallic. 3. Broad HavenIt was February 5, 1977 when a group of 14 schoolchildren from the Broadhaven Primary School in Wales, were outside playing football when they encountered something strange. On a field beside their school, they saw a disc-shaped craft. The children ran back into the school and told their teacher asking him to come and check it out, But he refused. Some of the children were afraid, others were baffled at what they were seeing and at least 6 of the children said they saw a silver suited spaceman come out of the ship. Naturally, the teacher thought the students were playing a trick on him.2. Copley Woods EncounterIt’s one of the most baffling UFO encounters ever brought to the public’s knowledge. At the center of the story is Debbie Jordan-Kauble from Copley Woods, Indiana. Her abduction story came to the forefront when it was documented in the bestselling book “Intruders: The Incredible Visitations at Copley Woods.” To protect her privacy, her name was changed to “Kathie Davis.” The book was released in the 80s and written by paranormal author, Budd Hopkins. Later is was translated to a miniseries in 1992. 1.Montreal SightingFor years, countless Canadians in Montreal have encountered strange UFO sightings in their skies. One of the stranger ones, occurred in November of 1990.At 7:20 PM on November 7th, a woman was using the swimming pool at the Place Bonaventure Hotel when she noticed strange glowing lights in the sky. The lights were a combination of amber, green and yellow. It seemed to be emanating from a craft which moved silently towards the hotel until it stopped and remained motionless directly above it. The woman informed the guard, who in turn, informed the hotel manager and staff. Soon more than 30 people gathered on the rooftop looking at what appeared to be a large, solid craft sitting quietly above them, emanating these strange lights.Support the show

The five stories on this list provide some of the more mysterious disappearances in the last several decades. These are 5 Strange and Creepy Missing Person’s Cases. 5. Martin AllenOn November 5, 1979, 15-year old Martin Allen, was travelling home in the London underground. He had plans to see his older brother but needed to go home to their cottage on the grounds of the Australian High Commission to get some money. At 3:50 PM, Martin said goodbye to school friends at the King’s Cross Station and headed to the Piccadilly Line platform to get home from there. Martin Allen never did make it to his destination that day – and until now, nobody knows where he is or what happened to him. 4. Leah RobertsLeah Roberts lived most of her life in Durham, North Carolina. After losing her parents and experiencing a near fatal car crash, she was feeling like she needed a break. Leah quit school and indulged her spiritual searching through poetry and writing.On March 9, 2000, she spoke to her sister, Kara, about her future plans. Later in the afternoon, Leah’s roommate couldn’t find her or her 1993 White Cherokee Jeep at home. 3. Jeremy BrightOn August 1986, Jeremy Bright went to Myrtle Point, Oregon with his sister, S’te (read Estee) to attend the Coos County Fair. It was a yearly affair for the siblings since they had lived in Myrtle Point prior to moving to Grants Pass. Not only were they looking forward to the fair but they wanted to catch up with friends and family who lived there. By August 13, the siblings headed out, stuffing themselves with food, enjoying the rides and hanging out with friends. At 4:45 PM, Jeremy called his mother to ask her to pick him and his sister up on August 15th. 2. Larry HillblomLarry Hillblom is one of the men responsible for creating the DHL empire. Born and raised in Kingsburg, California he graduated with a law degree. He then worked for a while before co-founding DHL in 1969 and as the company grew, he became a billionaire. Aside from his high intelligence, Hillblom was described by friends and family as eccentric. He was also a private person and liked to keep his personal affairs away from prying eyes. By the 1980s, he moved to Saipan and lived here. Business partners thought it was a brilliant move to avoid paying tax dollars, But it seemed there was much more to this story. 1. Lynne SchulzeOn December 10, 1971, 17-year old Lynne Schulze from Middlebury, Vermont, was on the verge of taking her final exams for Drama class. It was the first day of exams before Christmas break and at 12:30 PM, she was seen stopping by a local health food store called “All Good Things.” She bought dried prunes and was seen munching on them outside the store while waiting for the bus. She mentioned she was heading to New York and was waiting for the bus but the bus had already left. By 12:55 PM, she was seen in her dormitory.Support the show

In older, abandoned instituations, sometimes sinister torture occurred that has left behind a dark impression that still exists today. The places on this list gained a reputation not just for what went on during their heyday, but more so for what went on afterward. These are the Top 5 Most Frightening Asylums & Hospitals in the World.5. Eloise HospitalConsidered the most haunted location in Michigan, the Eloise Hospital or Asylum has become synonymous with ghost stories and hauntings. First opening in 1839, it was named after Eloise Davock, the daughter of Detroit’s then-postmaster. The structure operated from 1839 thru 1982 and was initially created as a poor house and farm. Eventually, additional structures were added into what would become The Eloise Hospital, The Eloise Infirmary and the Eloise Sanatorium. All three made up one large complex and At its height, it had become such a self-sufficient place that it even had its own postal code. 4. Gonjiam Psychiatric HospitalConsidered by CNN as one of the eeriest places to exist on Earth, the Gonjiam Psychiatric Clinic can be found in the small remote village of Gwangju, South Korea. Set against the backdrop of a lush forest, the now-abandoned psychiatric hospital has been left to ruins after it mysteriously closed down in 1995. Although no one knows for sure why it closed, there were a number of reasons put forth. Some were mundane saying it was primarily an issue in sewage disposal, and that the building didn’t have the proper systems in place. 3. Ohio State Reformatory Originally called the Mansfield Reformatory, Ohio State Reformatory is not only well known for its dark and sinister legacy but also because of its beautiful Gothic architecture. It first opened in 1886 with Its main purpose to humanely rehabilitate first time offenders. This goal earned the reformatory praise for its revolutionary step towards prison reform. 2. Tranquille Sanatorium Built in 1907, the Tranquille Sanatorium sits in a small town known simply as Tranquille in British Columbia, Canada. This sanatorium was first set up by King George the 7th as a primary center for treating and containing tuberculosis patients. 1. Danvers Lunatic AsylumBuilt towards the end of the 19th century, Danvers Lunatic Asylum has become an iconic structure in the Boston, Massachusetts area. Set on a hilltop, the asylum occupied 1.5 miles of land and followed the strict mental asylum system known as the Kirkbride Plan. With this design, the central administrative building was placed at the center while the buildings towards the East housed the female patients and the West reserved for the males. The farthest buildings were places for the most “dysfunctional” patients, essentially the ones put in cages.Support the show
