This week, we flash back to when we learned about a Spanish athlete who went underground for an extraordinary experiment in isolation and stayed there for 500 days. But when it was finally time to bring her back to the surface, something much stranger had happened: she had lost her sense of time so completely that she believed only a fraction of those 500 days had passed.
