    Episode 23 Bo Speyrer Jul 25, 2022
    Show notes

Bored fishing in that shallow 10-12 FOW? Have big money into graphs on your boat that you never use or are unsure how to use? Well if you said yes you better get your notepad out and listen to what Bo has to say. Bo is widely known on Facebook forums for his c2c videos during offshore trips, while also watching his graph. It's a talent we talk about and Bo lays down some fish behavior patterns here has noticed while graph fishing. For not even owning a bait I took away knowledge about fishing behavior in deeper water that I think could be replicated anywhere with similar depth.

    Episode 22 Phoenix Pichner Jul 18, 2022
    Show notes

One of the most well-known swimbait guys in the Land of 10,000 lakes joins me today. Phoenix gets on and declares his love for 3 things, dead walking TiK's, slinging 7.5 WCZ battelshads, and making burgers. But in all seriousness, Phoenix is a stick from MN who seems to be dialed in the springtime. Catching a 6-pound 10 oz behemoth MN LGM this spring on the battleship, and countless other good fish on the TiK throughout the year. The man even had a 25-pound day with his best. Show notes

Join me as I have the first painter come on the show and talk, Aquaticmarlon! For only doing this for 2 years he is seriously one of the most talented guys I've seen. His trout work looks like something straight out of a taxidermist shop. We touch on a lot of the basics of his painting techniques, like how he goes about prep work, mass orders, and the occasional goof-up while spraying. I will personally say if you're looking to get a bait repainted do not hesitate to get aloha of Marlon and get on his wait list.

    Episode 18 Labratsfishing Jun 21, 2022
    Show notes

Dylan is a SoCal saltwater/freshwater swimbait guy. While still being a little newer to the swimbait thing he's put in some serious time into it and it's shown. While most of us guys only fish our crazy expensive baits in fresh water, Dylan talks about a small niche group of guys who venture into the salty side of things for saltwater bass. He explains how they slow roll yunique soft baits over eel grass and wait for that hard thud of a fish hitting the bait. But while he enjoys that he says it is hard to beat catching good green fish also. Some of the stories he tells make me realize southern strain and northern strain along with a couple of thousand miles may not make all of our fish that different. They are all intrigued with our baits, it's more about if they are aggressive enough to tango with a bait half their size or bigger sometimes.

    Episode 17 Fallof74 Jun 15, 2022
    Show notes

While Jared from Fallof74 may be known by many as the "bait wrap guy" he drops some sick stories about the early days of swimbaits in Cali. HE touched on what it was like to be some of the first guys fishing Huddlestons in his waters and how crazy the fish acted for them. Or how those first few years of swimbaiting were done on "improvised" gear compared to what we have access to nowadays. Jared is an awesome guy who I could legit sit down with him and listen to him tell stories for a long time.

    Episode 15 TheGracelyBaits May 12, 2022
    Show notes

Search glides, Cover glides, Open water glides…. Finesse glides? Join Kyle from TheGracelyBaits and me as we talk about his roots in the fishing world and more in the swimbait world. Kyle has taken the swimbait groups by storm with his “finesse glide bait” Gill. A 4 and a quarter inch gill glide is hard to come by in our niche. So to have bait available as Kyle makes is something new people are interested in. A swimbait that anyone can get in the mail and fish the same day. No need for a special rod that can throw xyz weight. A simple flipping stick and 150-size reel and your set. He has brought a bait anyone and everyone can fish. A new space between fishing an 11 inch glide and a 3 inch ned rig.
