    Saving Grace

God calls us to influence our world with the truth of God’s love, a love that cannot be earned and cannot be lost. Sharing God’s love with others requires that we first grasp His love for us. Saving Grace provides the listener opportunity to hear inspiring interviews with experts as well as everyday people who love Jesus and want others to know and experience that love and the abundant life Jesus spoke about.

#104: Failure is Not Fatal Aug 14, 2018
    Show notes

Have you ever experienced failure? If you have spent any amount of time in life on this earth, you have failed, and those failures can break you. If there is one person who understood failure in full measure it would be the Apostle Peter. Time and time again he failed spectacularly but through those failures he experienced wisdom, faith and grace in abundance.

    #103: Golden Repair Aug 07, 2018
    Show notes

“Life breaks us all”, so says Earnest Hemingway, “but many are made strong at the broken places.” The truth of this statement can be seen throughout the Scriptures not only on what we are taught but also in the lives of certain biblical characters. In this 6-week study, we will journey together through things in life that can break us and what God does in our brokenness to strengthen us and to bring beauty and joy out of our broken places. In this first podcast we will take a look at trials and see what James tells us is the reality of trials, the response we are to have to trials and the result of our response to those trials. Let’s listen as Mark Rae, Vice President of Community Development at Grace School of Theology and Executive Director of Grace Center for Spiritual Development shares with us the beauty and joy that God can bring out of trials.

#101: How to Experience Sexual Purity Jul 24, 2018
    Show notes

Many passages of Scripture talk about the importance of sexual purity. But what does sexual purity look like? How do I make godly choices? What happens when I fail? In this podcast, we get answers to those questions. Continuing our 3-part series is our guest, Dr. Roger Fankhauser, author of “Stormproof Men: Sexual Purity for Christian Men in a Sex-Saturated World.”

#100: Is Sexual Purity Possible? Jul 17, 2018
    Show notes

“Evil associated with sex comes from abuse of God’s gift, not from the gift itself. God intended sex to be loving, pleasurable – not a source of heartache and destruction.” In this sex-saturated world, with Satan and our flesh active, is sexual purity really possible? If so, how do we experience it? Our guest today to start our 3-part series is Dr. Roger Fankhauser, author of “Stormproof Men: Sexual Purity for Christian Men in a Sex-Saturated World.”

    #99: Live by Grace Jul 10, 2018
    Show notes

Instructions for living by grace will be helpful if the world is to be drawn to Christ by our testimony and deeds. What is the ministry of grace we’ve been given made possible, by Christ alone? How are we to be ministers of grace, shedding Christ’s light in this dark world? Mark Rae, Vice President of Community Development at Grace, will help us with these questions, and prepare us to take Christ to the nations, in this last message of our series, Life of Glory.

#98: Two Pillars: Worship and Prayer Jul 03, 2018

So, how do we nurture our lives to insure that our fellowship with the Lord is unbroken, and to increase our intimacy with Him? Mark Rae, Vice President of Community Development at Grace, believes there are two pillars that will guard our fellowship and intimacy with Christ. In this podcast, Mark shares the value of worship and prayer.

#97: Why is the Holy Spirit Called Holy? Jun 26, 2018
    Show notes

The Holy Spirit is often ignored, or misunderstood, in Christian circles today. Without His help, however, we can never pursue holiness in a manner that brings honor and glory to God. And yet, that is our purpose and calling to do so during our life on earth. So who is the Holy Spirit? Why is He called Holy? What role does He have in the Trinity and in our lives today? Mark Rae, Vice President of Community Development at Grace, will address these very important questions as we continue our series, Life of Glory.

#96: The Flesh is Weak Jun 19, 2018
    Show notes

Perhaps with the Apostle Paul you ask, “Why do I do the things I know I shouldn’t do, and don’t do the things I should do?” Why is this a dilemma for every human alive, even Christians? Because the flesh is weak, Scripture tells us. What exactly is “the flesh?” How can the flesh be defeated for me to walk triumphantly with Christ, in a life of glory? Mark Rae, Vice President of Community Development at Grace, will take us to Scripture for the answers to those questions.

    #95: Know, Consider, Present Jun 12, 2018
    Show notes

There is an identity crisis in the world. What difference could our lives make in the world if we grasped our true identity in Jesus Christ? What if we understood that we are no longer bound by sin and can freely present our lives to the Lord, for His purposes and glory? The answer is, we can! Today, Mark Rae, Vice President of Community Development at Grace, brings a powerful message to tell us how, as part of our series on A Life of Glory.
