Destiny: Where Am I Going? Oct 11, 2015
    Show notes

Where you think you are going after this life directly affects your behavior and attitude while you are still on earth. Despite all the “near death experience” stories out there, only one man really knows what heaven's actually like—Jesus Christ. Jesus talked a lot about heaven because he wanted us to be with him for eternity and reward us. He even laid down his life to make that possible. In this message, Pastor Tom Holladay explores four things Jesus taught about destiny and presents two important decisions for us to make today about heaven.

Identity/Intentionality: What is my Purpose? Oct 04, 2015
    Show notes

Everybody needs meaning, purpose, and identity. Sadly, most people don’t often think about these things. Approaching life with a “you only live once” attitude and not taking the time to live with purpose is a tragic mistake. Among the various families of religious faith, we find that a biblical worldview is unique in the fact that your calling is equivalent to service and becoming who God created you to be. In this message, Os Guinness, PhD, talks about God’s calling for each of us by exploring two of Jesus’ most famous parables about stewardship.

Originality: Where Did I Come From? Sep 27, 2015
    Show notes

Were you a cosmic accident or created by a living and loving God? This question has been asked for centuries by every religion on earth. Your origin matters because where you come from determines your purpose in life. Every religion asks the same three questions in relationship to your origin: why are you here, what went wrong, and how can you fix it? Since God is your creator, you have a purpose in life. You were created for the best type of freedom—living out God’s design for your life. In his message, Originality: Where Did I Come From, Sean McDowell, PhD talks about how Christianity and Darwinism differ in their origin stories and gives two pieces of scientific evidence in support of intelligent design.

Who do you cry out to when things are going badly? As he was about to die on the cross, Jesus shouted out, “Father, I entrust my spirit into your hands!” He was so confident in his Father that he raised his voice, despite the agonizing pain he was suffering on the cross. In that moment, Jesus became the example of not only how to live, but how to die. God can be fully trusted—his hands are big enough to bless you, and he will always hold on to you! In the final message of The Seven Greatest Words of Love series, Pastor Rick Warren shares four truths to remember about God in your darkest hour.
